When I watch Tifo Football, FourFourTwo CZcams channel, and James Allcott I am far more impressed with their analysis. But on the odd occasions I watch BSkyB's Football Daily, I get the feeling that these lot don't know what they are actually talking about (especially Dougie who looks like he was given a script or homework assignment the night before). His flicks and drops of the shoulder just add excitement to a midfield that is dead. Mainoo goes missing defensively and his immobility is an issue because we get overrun in midfield even by an understrength Dutch midfield. Wharton would give us everything we need to dominate games because of his on the ball quality. I don't understand why he hasn't got a chance. Just because Mainoo plays for United and the clamour for his name by the fans allowed Gareth to buy himself time. Don't get me wrong, Mainoo is good but he is not that the level of other players his age in the position. We are speaking on Kobbie like he is like Pedri or Gavi when they were young; he's not even close. Hot take: Archie Gray has a higher ceiling than Kobbie Mainoo.
