I prefer bunk over the cab, but even if it wasn't for sleeping on, I like having that open space for storage, rather than having cabinets up there. Can pack some outdoor items that won't fit in a cabinet, like an inflatable kayak or SUP, a bike or two, musical instruments, etc.

During the height of the pandemic in early 2020 when most of us in the United States were confined to our homes for almost 3 months, I came across Matt's RV Review channel after watching some videos of Van Life. Matt has such high energy and really funny when he speaks that it's hard to change the channel and I can see why the channel is closing in on 200k subscribers. I won't be surprised in in 2 years the channel will hit 1 million subscribers. Keep up the good work Matt and Andrea.
I find it really funny that he, Matt does the superman jump prior to the RV tours and reviews. Andrea is also awesome, and they have such great chemistry when doing the tours and reviews. I can actually feel the anxiousness of Andrea when making the corner towards the back of the RV if there's a ladder that leads to the roof because she knows that Matt's about to go up the roof and it can get dangerous specially going down from the roof. I'm sure that Andrea wishes that there isn't a ladder at the back every time they do a review...LOL.
I like the originality of the 3 things that we love about the RV and the 3 things we dislike about the RV. Also, they don't mind if they disagree on what they like or dislike about the RV. Also, the triple P's are great...Prime Pooping Positions. Give me porcelain or give me death. "Is this picture...art deco"?
I can't afford any of the RV's being reviewed just yet, but I will continue to watch the channel because it's a great entertainment for me and my son. Perhaps one day I'll come down to Florida and get one class-c and drive it back to Virginia.

I would choose no bunk. I want the extra storage, because I'm a solo traveler. Additionally it's easier to not have that overhang for a first-time rver. I feel like it will be easier to drive when I don't have that extra distraction above the bunk.

Very nice. This was the size RV I initially thought I would buy, but decided we needed bigger because we planned to do monthly stays in Florida in the Winter. Likes: warranty, benz, paint, wind sensing awning, cabinets, prefer the storage over bunk, storage under couch, tv position, dislikes: no external tv, no ladder (deal breaker), wet bay door (deal breaker) , msrp (can get a nice Class C for less), ccc, no oven, window where headboard should be at head of bed, plastic shower 'door' (deal breaker).

The bunk bed can give you both!
So beginning with the upper bunk, order professional oversized storage cubes (guessing 5). Once filled, line them all up in a perfect row on top of the bunk bed, spanning all the way from one side to the other side. You can pull this off so well it'll look like Jayco put this together! Then simply move them to the passenger seats when the overhead bunk is needed! It's a win-win!!!

I like the overhead bunk model. You have a bunk for guests, of course, but you have a lot more storage space than the non-bunk model, in this area. This model of RV doesn't have too much storage in the bedroom area, so I would use the bunk storage area for suitcases or plastic bins for clothing.

I wish there was a way to substitute the sofa, for maybe a love seat, maybe put in a full size bed, and add a washer/dryer. I'm leaning towards the bunk up front, because I like all the light. If it were me, I'd probably pull out the cushions and use it for storage. I'm really liking the Class B's over the Class C's because there's more practical space. Oh, and I love what they did with the TV. The whole floor plan worked out great.

In 2021, we cancelled our Melbourne Prestige order and went with the Thor Gemini 23TW and glad we did. Ford Transit chassis, AWD, twin turbo gas engine and much better cargo carrying capacity. Also, the Gemini has much better tech for house controls. Finally, the cost was about 40k less than the Prestige.

I am NOT a fan of Murphys (how YOU doin'?), but this layout and positive comment from Matt makes me rethink my options.
I'd go bunk over cab a) sunlight, b) sleeping area and c) you can store stuff anyway so what's the diff. Having said that, the "European" rollout shelves were pretty cool. 👍
You guys are always a hoot to watch and I'll never understand why Andrea hates opening those bottom drawers, but I love what you guys do. 👏👏👏

Perfect sized motorhome and it would be a perfect motor home if only the outside storage doors were side-opening and the storage under the dinette had drawers. All the same features of Mercedes vehicles makes it a pleasure to drive. I like that there are no flimsy legs on the Murphy bed and I like the bunk over the cab. The tp holder is definitely too far away for us shorties who are the ones who will fit in that tiny bathroom-haha. Thanks again for a well-done review.

I still prefer the Entegra Odyssey 26MB. It still has a better floorplan. It has an outside kitchen, a U-shaped dinette, a TV AND a fireplace across from the sofa. It might not be on the Mercedes but that only makes it less expensive.

Another excellent video. A lot to like about this Motorhome.
For me- the bunk over the cab makes it more versatile. You can take a grandchild, or in our case, if a friend joins us somewhere along the trip, they can spend a night up there. You still have the versatility for bunk storage.
I like the counter space, drivability, overall layout and the bed looks reasonably comfortable.
I agree with Matt, that the space to the bathroom wall is very tight.
Outside storage door needs to swing out, not up.
Cargo Carrying capacity?? 950 or 1400? 900 is a deal breaker for us.
Thank you for another excellent video

Can the bed stay down with the extension in? Instead of being out.

I wish they would make a corner bed model like the Winnebago View 24J or Coachmen 24CB, these full wall slides kill the CCC, I think the 900lbs is probably right. The corner bed also helps with the pitiful outside storage too. The cabinetry is just beautiful though, really gorgeous. Agree on the drawers under the dinette. I think I would choose no bunk overhead, seems less intimidating to drive. And your stuff can't fall down, even if you can't fit as much as the open bunk. For 165k, I think I would pass solely on the DINKY fridge alone, listen up Jayco! I just passed up a fairly decent deal on a Coachmen 24CB due to the dinky fridge.

I love the corner beds too! I don’t think they put enough thought into how the end user is planning on using these sometimes. On their behalf I will say that sometimes they put in less storage space because if it’s all used and the tanks are filled it would quickly be over the cargo carrying capacity. Most folks are exceeding their recommended capacities as it is which can lead to disasters and causes lots of extra wear and tear.
The bathroom sucks but the kitchen is very nice. This would be good for folks that plan to use the bath house at campgrounds most of the time and want the open floor space for pets tho. If someone had cats they could cut a cat hole under the dinette seat for the litter box and those kitties would love that bunk!

TP holder is too far away Matt.
And we like the storage instead of the bunk over cab

No hinges under the dinette seats, no problem. Go to Home Depot and for about $25.00 you buy a pair of piano hinges and screw them down. I did that to my Entegra Vision. The price is too much for what you get.

Not a fan of the Euro cabinets, with the shine, the curve, it seems like they are too long and you have to back your head up to open. I like the option of no Bunk, but wish those cabinets were larger. And that wet bay, that door is very inconvenient. All those things make me want to "move on".
I will say, the Murphy bed, the bathroom (with exception of the toilet), kitchen counter space, and the Murphy bed, are all tops! (I had to mention Murphy bed twice.)

I prefer no bunk. But I don’t like the Murphy beds. Wish they’d figure it out.

Storage overhead. I don't understand people trying to cram four, five,six.... people in these small motorhomes
