It's just so sad that they cannot fit 2 SODIMM slots in a 16" laptop
The GEN 2 have
What sized Phillips-head screwdriver did you use?
Thank you for your work!
Please do a ASUS VivoBook 16X K3605ZU
really doesn't help that you have removed the back ahead of time to just easily lift it out.
This is a very bad video with wrong instructions. You can't easily remove the back
I manqe to get it up by using a little bit of force.
@@kasperrzuelowhoowww??? Please help 😭 every darn CZcams video skips how to remove the cover
@@crunchy3546 you unfortunately have to use force. Start in the rear of the laptop and open it gently with a little force starting from the corners. The clippings are just plastic fasteners that you just have to pop open.
@@kasperrzuelow thank you! I managed to get it open finally. Just needed something very thin and very hard but also made of plastic so to not damage the laptop. And yes, your prying tool must be THIN and hard (i.e., not flexible) otherwise it will not be possible to squeeze into the tiny seams. Guitar picks and credit cards will very likely NOT work because they are not thin enough nor hard enough (it didn’t for me). I started prying in the corner, on the side where the trackpad is. Really had to use some force and a lot of jiggling to get the prying tool in there, then once it’s in a little bit, you need to drag the fucker along the edges carefully. For anyone wondering what these “clips” are, you can’t see them, you can only hear them pop open as you drag your tool along the seams. I hope this helps anyone. Wasted 3 hours of my life trying to figure this out 😭
The 2nd gen of this laptop comes with two slots for RAM
The best way is to insert a plastic rod into the rj45 port , then the it can be easily pried up, that's the first key point
along with the splitting sink, you clockwise pry open the whole D board , that will be much easier!
Where is the second ssd/M2 slot? I can see only one
on the left side directly under the fan
