One of the best reviews of the Raptor I've watched . Thank you for this!
Thank you, I appreciate this 🙏
One of the most impressive in depth review I've watched!! Keep reviewing... You're born to do this!!
Thank you for this! This means a lot 🙏🏻❤️
I have seen so many Ranger Raptor reviews on CZcams but this one is awsome 🙌 You give lots of technical details (gearbox, engine, suspension, difference between the generations, ...). God bless you 🙏. Watching you from Madagascar 🇲🇬
Hands down the most informative and helpful Ranger Raptor review I've watched. And I've watched a lot over the past couple of weeks. The ride from from the dealership was a bit rough and jerky, but I didn't worry because I learned from this review that it was normal at low mileage.
Thank you po for the support 🙏🏻 And welcome to #TeamRaptor! ❤
Very Detailed and knows what he is talking about. this is a good Car review guy that study the car first before doing a review
One of the best review of Ford Ranger Raptor. Thank you for full review in English. Very helpful for non Philippines / Tagalog speaking viewer.
Thank you for the support 🙏🏻❤
Sweet Ride !!
Can't wait until it comes over here !!
Great Review. You got a new sub from Cape Town!
Wow, the most thorough and informative review I've seen on this pickup.
It makes such a big difference listening to feedback from 'actual' users. Rather than overly 'excited' reviews from others, who only have the unit for an hour or so. They tend to lean on the form, rather than function. They generally get too excited, not actually reporting on the different aspects of the vehicle. And they make up some random things on the spot, which is completely incorrect lol.
I'm not naming anyone, but I saw a car "review", and they lady said it was a mild hybrid because the automatic stop start function kicked in when she stopped in traffic 😂😂... I'm like, bruuhhh.
But anyways, thank you for pointing out the issues with certain model year. I had no idea that they had issues with the transmission. Reminds me of the engine recalls they had for the 2017 production year Ford Focus RS' here in the UK.
Thank you! I appreciate this. 🙏🏻 ❤
agree
I’m thinking of buying a used Raptor, your video was very helpful!
Hi sir, you're so articulate. I love your review. You even compared it to previous models.. 👍👍
Thank you, I greatly appreciate this 🙏
Good review brod ,natural way ,ill be waiting for the new raptor 2023 model ,of course pag iipunan muna.tnx for the info anyways.
Great detailed review! ❤
And explaining each every details is so awesome! 👌👌👌
By the way, congrats for owning a Ford Ranger Raptor. 😉
Hoping to see you reviewing another car and keep safe as always.
Thank you for the support! I appreciate this ❤
You saved me from buying the older model, nice one!
Nice review bro ✌🏽
Thanks bro!
Nice review silingan! 👏🏼
Thank you sa support, silingan! Hehe 😁
i love this car. Hopefully i'll get one next year. can't wait to play with it :)
You’ll love it! Congrats in advance ❤️
Best review ug detalyado…makapalit man ta ug ahat ani boss. Cheers. Keep it up!
Thank you sa support boss 🙏🏻
im a Ford Ranger Raptor owner also for 2 years super love it, i love to drive it everyday and for 2 years no flat tires and no mechanical/technical problems at all :)
Great to hear that! ❤️
What about the transmission issue?
Thanks
This has already been addressed in the video po
Thanks for the review dude. This is exactly what I was looking for the differences between the old model and this new one. Because looking form the exterior/interior it looks just about the same. I'm looking for the best deal for 2019-20 Raptor model with 20K or less mileage here in Cebu City. P1.4 or 1.5M less depreciation should be fairly reasonable. But it just all depends on the current market for willing seller & buyer.
Love the review. I just retired and can't wait to see mine. I purchased the gray model and bought a few items to add on the the raptor. I've owned a ford focus rs for 3 years and never had an issue with my ford. That's why i chose the ford over toyota. Keep up the great reviews.
I sorry I'm still in the US and waiting to go home for good.
Hi, congrats on your retirement! That Focus RS is awesome. Thanks for the support, see you on the road soon! 😁
Awesome review! And so funny to see that some points you mentioned are implemented differently here in European version. Built in South-Africa.
I will surely have another check on what is and isn't in my Raptor. Which I have since 11/2019. As I surely see there are several small differences between EU and Asian versions.
So be aware that international viewers might have some differences.
Thanks a lot for your efforts!
Hi there! Thanks for this. Yes, indeed. There are many spec changes depending on the country. I’m glad you enjoyed the review!
@@FulgentFave There are. And I especially noted when I looked at videos, while waiting for delivery. There was an 6-month waiting list when I visited the dealer. But I was lucky to get one in 9 days.
Very lucky! We had to wait about 3-4 months for ours!
Hi, would it be possible share an info (TSBs, or reports) where did you find transmissions numbers with the problems? Thank you
Biggest dream car with that colour! Have a safe drive sir
Back in 2019 this was my dream too, just this year it became a reality. You, too, will get one soon. Drive safely also! 🙏
@@FulgentFave Manifesting it🙏 gbya!
well explained and technical know how presenter. raptor rocks!!!
Kim here, Thanks for the awesome feedback!
Really wish they would sell them in the USA I think they would have no problem selling them at all and great job on the explanation of the truck
Hi, thanks for this! Yes, I think they are planning on selling the next generation Ranger Raptor in the US. As far as I know, they have been testing a few units.
Love it
Nice review. Can you do a review on the tires that you mentioned? I need to replace the stock tires on my montero and I am considering All Terrain or Mud Terrain. I am just worried about the noise. Most of my travel is on asphalt but I visit my farm property from time to time. Ive been stuck several times in the mud when I visit.
Most of the tires I used were mud terrain (Comforser CF3000, Savero MT, Cooper STT, Delium Terra Warrior). If you are concerned with the noise, I am not going to recommend MT's since they all hum so loudly in highway speeds and they wear down faster than AT tires. AT's are good but it may still get stuck especially with deeper, more slippery mud ruts. The BFG KO2's are super silent on the road even when you have the windows open, you barely hear them. However, traction-wise, it tends to get slippery in wet pavement but it is excellent in gravel or light mud trails. I would advise getting a set of all terrains first and testing it out if it can handle the terrain. Otherwise, it would be best to have a dedicated set of mud terrains when you visit your farm.
The Next Gen Ranger Raptor has also air vents in the 2nd row, blind spot monitoring, and active park assist 2.0 now
Yes, also front sensors, radar, and the new LiveValve Fox Shocks
Hello! Thank you for your review and it is even more valuable coming from as an owner. I am keen to get one, but one area for the Ford Ranger Raptor that holding me from buying it would be the Fox shocks. Since this is a wear and tear items, would you able to advice how long long does it last? Also, my understanding is that the shocks is considered as big ticket items. Does the shocks need to be replace or Ford will rebuild it? If replace, how much would that cost for each of the shocks?
Hi! Very interesting question. As far as I know, Fox shocks typically last about 80,000 to 100,000 kms before they need to be rebuilt. These shocks are rebuildable so you don’t need to buy a new set (which would cost a fortune, btw). There are authorized Fox shocks service centers in Makati and Bacolod. Though I’m not sure if they service cars too. I sent them a message and will get back to you! 😁
@@FulgentFave Thank you so much for the advice! Really appreciate it.
Sir let me tell you about my experience with my 2019 Ranger Raptor. It was 22 months old with only 20,000 kms reading and the #4 fuel injector gave up. Luckily it was still under warranty. When you mentioned about the transmission slipage or sometimes it drags mine still does that once in a while at 40,000 kms. Do you also notice a buzzing sound when you open the driver side door? If you don't then that is another defect on mine. Thanks for the video
As far as I know, all the ticks, unusual sounds, rough shifts should be gone after the break-in period. As for ours, all of the above were gone at roughly 3,000 kms. And no, I don't hear a buzzing sound when I open the driver side door.
Hi sir. Plan to buy 2ndhand sir.. tama po ba narinig ko na iwasan ang 2019 and 2020? Salamat
Please refer to that portion of the video sir. Thank you
Thanks for this. Correct me if i am wrong, still no 360 cam for the 2022? You think the 2023 version will have a significant price increase here in the philippines?
This one, 2022, does not have a 360 cam. The facelifted 2023 model will definitely have that. I'm not quite sure, but if there will be a price increase, it should not be that significant.
Imagine bringing this truck through R66 or Daytona International Speedway 😁😁
I like your review for the FRR. My wife and I are planning to purchase our seconds vehicle. Torn between SUV and a Pick up . This will help me with my case w/my wife😁 (FRR my choice)
Great choice ❤️ Hope your wife approves 😁
One thing why we preferred to buy the hilux is ford's reliability issue. We have a 2016 ford everest. Nakaka 600k na kami sa repairs 😅
New subscriber here. Planning to buy a raptor early next year since our navara np300 is getting older. Silingan ra diay ta iligan city rami. Anyway great job on the review. Hope you can have a long term review on this soon. More power.
Good choice, sir. You will not regret it. See you on the road! Thank you sa suporta 🙏
@@FulgentFave question do they have a test drive unit?
For Ford CDO, yes they do have a test drive unit.
Questions: what is the make/model # of the bed rails, what tint is on the windows, and what other mods are you planning on getting?
Hi, the make and model of the bed rails are universal for all T6 Rangers (PX1, PX2, and PX3). The tint is just the free tint from the dealership at 6% VLT wraparound. I don’t want to go wild with the mods for this since it’s my daily, but I am planning on headlights, wheels and tires, and probably a leveling kit.
Hey there just wanted to ask if you can provide a link to where you purchased the bed rail covers you have there. Great review by the way !
Hello. I got them here.

Hello from Greece 🇬🇷!
Hi, thank you for this review. Currently waiting for RR Stock. Just want to ask, how is your RR so far? Any observations or issues encountered? Do you still recommend to buy RR? thank you..
Hello, it's currently going 6k kms already. So far, I'm not encountering any issues naman po
@@FulgentFave Thank you bro.. can't wait for stock.
Hi, anung transmission number ang dapat kong icheck? kasi papalabas na unit ko.. then what advice pa would you give me po para icheck yung unit? MARAMING SALAMAT
Hello, sir. 42 na po dapat yung transmission number. Check mo lang if may mga tulo, mga dents or scratches and signs of wear and tear. If meron, huwag ipa release sir
Hi. 👋 What brand of tint and tint percentage did you use?
Hello, I am using the tint provided by the dealership. I think it was called Infinity, haven't heard of that brand though but it was free 😂 It's also 6% VLT wraparound.
Is raptor hard to park? cause we have fortuner ltd i can park with it plus the 360 camera helps. I really like the new ford ranger 2022 the infotainment is really big like a big ipad
I'm used to it by now. When we first got it, there really was a learning curve as it is wider and longer both in length and wheelbase than our Everest. If you find parking your Fortuner easy, then transitioning to the Raptor is not that difficult. A standard Ranger would be easier to park, though, since it's narrower.
All the 2021/2022/2023 stuff is just marketing jargon to get people to buy cars. Not everyone knows what the latest is so they trick people this way. This is not a 2022 Raptor. It's a 2021 Raptor based off of a 2011 design.
Love the fact it has Max AC. All cars should have that and it should be as powerful as BMWs. But it's let down by the lack of rear air vents this creating two climates inside the car with the rear being warmer than the front. Newer cars should not only have centre rear vents but B pillar vents too.
Thaks for the nice, detailed review. Love the posh sounding warning chime when you were getting into the car. Wondering what the seatbelt chime sounds like.
Exactly my point. It’s a 2021 model considered 2022 by Ford PH.
Sir, would you know if there is a tire pressure monitor system? Thank you!
No, there isn't any. But you can add an OEM one with proper parts and programming.
@@FulgentFave thank you!
Very in-depth review! I'm currently leaning towards the D-max but I've decided to at least wait for the local specs and pricing of the all-new ranger since it's just around the corner. The upcoming Ranger looks very promising but I hope that they'll just carry over the current tranny and engine or at least make it an option for the top-spec non-raptor variant. Because I'm pretty sure they would've already ironed out most if not all of the issues by then with years they've already spent working on them. I'm not hyped about the V6 diesel since if I get one, it will surely spend around 80% of its time in city traffic and I won't be towing or carrying any heavy loads most of the time so the extra power and fuel burn is not worth it for me especially with the rising fuel prices. I just have a few questions though:
1. How is Ford's aftersales service?
2. What service interval are you following? According to Ford PH, the maintenance interval for the current ranger and everest should be 12 months but I've seen some local dealers that still follow the 6 months interval which increases the cost of ownership and earns them more profit.
2. I know that you were given a free 5-year SSP so does Ford still charge you for some "extras" every pms or is it completely free of charge?
3. What's your Raptor's current mileage and are there any new issues?
Hello, thanks for the feedback! As for the next-gen Ranger, there is no V6 option for the Philippines. It is exclusive only to some markets like Australia. So, that would be a plus for you.
As for your questions:
1. So far, I have not experienced anything negative from Ford CDO. They have been very accomodating.
2. The service interval is 10,000kms or 12 months whichever comes first. That may be because the older engines have the old interval which was every 6 months. But as far as I know, all vehicles sold from 2020 onwards have the new service interval already.
For the SSP, Ford only covers what service is recommended to be done. This can be found in their PMS section. If you want any additional extras, that would be of additional charge. Say for example you want to change your fuel filter earlier than recommended, you will shoulder the cost for that.
3. The Raptor is currently nearing 7,000 kms and I have not experienced any issues so far.
Hope this helps ❤️
@@FulgentFave Thanks for the very quick and informative response! You deserve more subs. Looking forward to your future content. I'm now definitely considering the next-gen Ranger.
@@FulgentFave Hi sir, im frm Pagadian and planning to get one, do you think they would retain 2.0 bi turbo engine to philippine market?
Hows the Ford spare parts availability nowadays if ever we need one? Thnx and God bless!
Yes, they will retain the 2.0 engines. No V6 option for the Philippine market. So far, there are already many parts in the market so that should not be an issue.
to those who are planning to own the raptor. I'll suggest to wait a few months when the new generation will be available.
I agree! There are so much more features that have been added. It is definitely worth the wait. 🙏🏻
Hello sir, ano po type na led yung nilagay mo sa taillight mo?
Hello, sir. Philips brand po. Park/brake lights is T20 na double contact, signal light is T20 na single contact.
How much for the bed rails? Been drooling over the Performance Blue!
Hello. I've bought it for 5,500 for the set of 4. I really wanted the blue, but the family disagreed 😂
Hello sir! If you can please post POV videos. Thanks. Btw, do you have an idea when is the next year model going to come out? Is it around july-august?
Hi, I’m still eyeing on a GoPro for the POV drives but yes, soon I’ll post some. The next gen Ranger is most likely set to be released in around the 3rd quarter of 2022.
@@FulgentFave appreciate your response. I will be moving to Philippines next year sometime April-May to study so i am planning of getting one. My only issue is will it fit on a standard parking space in condominiums in Manila. I think it is 12.5 sq. meter. Anyway, i will be waiting for your POV videos. Thanks.
@@riggsdtr It should fit, but it will be a squeeze.
Basically, Actually, and Essentially 😊
Where can i get those bed railguards to buy ?
I got them from Top Offroad Philippines
Hi! just wanna ask where'd you buy those led rear lights?
Hello, I bought my reverse lights from Lazada. My rear brake lights and signal lights are Philips LED bulbs and I got them from eBay.
@@FulgentFave Thank You so much !
Since they issued All New Ranger, will there be ALL NEW Raptor for 2022?
No. The 2022 Ranger Raptor is the one in my video. It is unsure yet when the new Ranger Raptor will debut. Remember, the all new Ranger is only "unveiled" today, not "launched." And either the Ranger Raptor or the Everest will come after, probably gonna be unveiled in 2022 and launched in 2023.
Sir taga Kauswagan cdo ko. Ask unta ko if e rate nimu na nga car if how good from 1 to 10? Pila imung rate sir?
Nice review ever for the ford raptor. Better than rit.🙂
Hello sir. For me sir 9 out of 10. Kulang lang jud siya gamay sa features like 360 camera, front sensors, ug adaptive cruise control. Thank you sa support sir 🙏🏻
I have a 2019 Ranger Raptor released Feb of 2019, Running at almost 35K Km. So far the only problem for me is the stock battery that only lasts a year with no heavy lightning accessories. I just found out that my Transmission # is 43, glad that the engine is running smooth and doesn't shows any symptoms of the issues. You might hear some rat knocking sound behind the dashboard, the cause of that is the faulty Actuator behind the glove box which is a known issue to rangers and everest.
Hi, great to hear that. You must be not be part of the faulty batch. As for the battery, it’s more of a hit or miss. Some can utilize their stock battery for up to 4 years. The one in our Everest only lasted for 2. Yes, the AC actuator is a common issue. The ones in our Everest are starting to act up, but other than that, no issues.
hello po! tanong ko lang po kung san nyo nabili yong bedrails nyo? set of 4 ba po yan? kasi sa pagkaka alam ko po, set of 3 lng yan.. thank u po
Hi! I bought it from Top Offroad Philippines. Yes, 3 pcs lang usually binebenta pero sa kanila lang ako nakakita ng 4 pcs so far.
@@FulgentFave Thank you po. may i know the price sir
I bought it for 5,500 sir plus shipping.
How can one know that the unit is not a 2019 refurbished? salamat sa sasagot
Take a look at the registrstion or insurance papers to see what year model it is. As for repairs, if you see that the transmission number does not match up for the 2019 model year, it's probably replaced since Ford did offer to replace the whole transmission instead of just the faulty oil pump gear for affected units.
Interior light already LED for 2022?
No, still incandescent. I swapped them out for LEDs after a few weeks because the incandescents were not bright enough.
galing din nung jeep sa background
Isa sa mga unang sasakyan namin, dependable workhorse yan. Planning to restore in the future.

Hello, bumili lang ako sa Top Offroad Philippines then DIY lang pag install.
Hi, all! Thank you for bearing with me. If I have missed anything or if you have any question, feel free to comment below! ❤️
Erratum:
1. Wheels are 17x8.5, not 17x9
2. Rear brake discs are Ventilated, not Solid
Taga panggangan calape kaliwat ninyo sir?
Bohol po sir ❤️
musta naman unit mo sir goods padin ba no transmission or Engine issue
Yep. As explained, isolated issue yun from late 2019 to early 2020 batch.
is this really a 2022 or 2021? the new 2022 Raptor that wil come out nxt year will come with a 3.0 V6 engine.
As I have mentioned in the video already, this is the 2022 model for the Philippines. The new model will be the 2023.
Hello bro this is Andrew in Uganda
Can you help me get one in Uganda
Wala pong rollbar ang 2022 model?
Only the Raptor X gets the rollbar. The regular Raptors do not get any.
Does the rapper have front and rear lockers
It only has rear lockers
Hindi pala timing chain yung 2.0 engine? Kase yung 2.2 engine nila naka timing chain

Unsa nay update ani sir? Nagka issue baka ani?
Now at 5k kms. So far, so good.
Where arre the stickers….
I just spot an insect on front left fenders 😂
Wla po bang raptor na manual transmission???
Wala po
Try dick cepek extreme country tires. Put a set on my dodge ram 8 months ago and love them. Not super loud and amazing wet road traction. Have 10k miles on them and they still look new.
I'm an American from Hawaii, but I also have a house there in malaybalay! I bought a mitsubishi mirage back in 2017. To this day still trying to get my wife to let me buy the raptor 😂.
I wouldn’t want a diesel in it though, the 2.7 ecoboost would make this thing fly
I would love that. Unfortunately, we probably won't get one here in the PH. Possibly a more powerful V6 turbodiesel, but a gasoline one wouldn't really sell well here. In the US though, it will definitely be gasoline.
@@FulgentFave yep 👍🏽 I’m in the USA, weird how they do more gas engines for us and diesel for you guys
Ford should get a feedback thru research from customers to recitify any issues arised thats what toyota did if ford want to be competitive in the long run.
I agree
I wonder how much the 2023 raptor will be 🙏🏼
If we will compare prices in Thailand, this is my speculation.
Thailand Price:
2022 - equivalent to 2,700,000 pesos
2023 - equivalent to 2,850,000 pesos
(Nag price increase about 150k)
Philippine Price:
As of March 2022 - 2,058,000 pesos
2023 speculation - 2,208,000 pesos

I don't pray the rosary while driving
By the way, I'm no lawyer. But the law doesn't state anything about praying while driving. The rosary hanging down is probably what you mean. Which was already proven to be baseless and unscientific in the involvement of an accident.
