    #5 is my favorite for nil wind launches combined with well-timed A release. It also helps tension the lines quickly

    Regarding your 2nd and 3rd tips. You can keep moving steadily in zero or light wind. If the front wind is moderate or higher, the wind power will slow you down or stop you as you raise the wing when you do a forward launch.

    Pretty good list. Only thing I would slightly disagree with is setting a hard standard for where and how long to hold onto the As. A pressure is very dependent on how fast the wing is coming up. If it is coming up slowly, your tip is appropriate. If it is snapping up quickly, you'll definitely be too late to catch it with brakes and keep it from overflying without aggressive throttle and running to compensate, at the exact right time.

    When you say hold the A's do you have the A pinched in your thumb and fore fingers being "held" forward and a bit of downward pressure or is it just hooked around your thumb being held up with no downward pressure?

      @@TrevorSteele1 Thanks for the response there has been recent discussion and experimentation on this. How much downward pull pressure would you say you apply or are you pulling up, or neutral? I found I started pulling far too much A and it would deform the front nose of the wing and the wing wouldn't come up cleanly so ive switched to neutral but some friends are saying don't pinch at all and just hook the As. Might be worth a short video with a closeup slomo from the side of you.

      I apply little to no presure on the A's. If you apply too much you deflect the leading edge and it doesn't want to fly. This is expecially true on the Dominator. Any forward presure and it want's to fold.
      I used to just hold the A's but found that pintching gave me more control over them, more so gave me a better sense of releasing / dropping them. I'll make a video about holding A's, and everything while launching.

    What about using prop to “stir” air right before inflation? I’ve never done it but seems like a ton of people do it whether it be for that reason or just a run up for the engine- or both. I am seeing it a lot on the fly in videos. Does it help? I never done it but could use the help in nil wing because my 24m can be a dog to get above sometimes

      Yes, it certainly does work. However, it is not without risk. I chopped 2 D lines doing this once. It was on video. I did everything right, but the airflow made one of the lines dance up like a snake until it contacted the prop. It was super weird. I still do it when I have to, however, now I step further back, keep my hands lower and make sure all the lines are on the ground. And there a chance you can get your hand pulled in since you have your lines in your hands. My instructor never recommends it.

      Doesn’t help and I’d argue it makes it worse. Prop produced “wind” is spinning in circles and is very turbulent. Also that “wind” is gone is a split second and chances of it being there by the time you inflate is slim to none. A power forward is helpful but you have to compensate for the wind wanting to be turned and come up side ways because of the spinning prop wash.
