  • Today we're going to explore the true stadium American dream. The NFL league is steadily generating massive revenues, which also has an impact on the stadiums - in many cases, already run-down. That's why we're going to show you a few future NFL stadiums. The designs are very impressive and we can't wait to see them in reality.
    Interestingly, many future NFL stadiums are expected to be smaller than they are today. This trend is also shown in this video. On top of that, we explain why a certain American venue from the future will not be completely covered despite the cold winters. So join us for an exciting tour of some of the places in the USA where new NFL facilities will be built. Write in the comments which design is the most successful.
    In addition, we are also on:

      That Nashville Stadium is a nice unique design. I like it most, I think what they are doing in Barcelona looks maybe not similar, but unique and fits into the City just as this does. Buffalo is my Miami Dolphins bitter rivals, so I would never compliment them 😅

    • @Cerby1979
      @Cerby1979 Před 4 měsíci +53

      NFL wants stadiums with luxury suites. Luxury suites generate millions of dollars compared to regular seats. The reason college football stadiums have more capacity than NFL stadiums is because most college football stadiums are old and hardly (if any) have luxury suites.

      @_Ali. Před 4 měsíci +11

      Few reasons being lower capacity means you have more space to increase luxury amenities, which in turn you can charge more for. Also, as with most European stadiums, you keep capacity lower than demand and that way 2 things happen, the stadium is always full, but people will WANT to compete to get season tickets. Just look at Utd and Old Trafford, a 10 year waiting list to get a season ticket. It makes your brand more desirable.

    The Ravens and Orioles both received around 500 million dollars when they signed new leases on their stadiums. Renovations are being planned for Oriole Park also. There is also plans to turn the Camden Yards complex into something similar to the Atlanta Battery. The Horseshoe Casino, Top Golf, and Paramount Concert venue is only the beginning. Along with the Renovation of the now named CFG Bank Arena and New Lexington Market up the street. Let's not forget the revitalization of Harbor Place too. The future is exciting for Baltimore.

    Well, for what it's worth, when I play as the Bears on Madden I pick the deluxe sphere because I presume the stadium is going to be considered built at the same location, and therefore, dome. But there's a major thing about Madden: they don't really make you work for a new stadium anymore (I do recall they _did_ do so back in the Madden '08 days). I have zero clue how the Bears get a new stadium built without jumping through hoops.
    As for the Bills... saving the money on the dome makes the most sense because that stadium will probably host three or four AFC championships, but no matter what you build there, it would NEVER host a Super Bowl. Not only are they not going to build a dome for WrestleMania... April's a lot better weather-wise than February, they wouldn't need a dome for Mania anyway. AND it might be one of those cases where Nick Khan and Triple H might never consider Buffalo for anything bigger than SummerSlam. The major point is that there aren't enough things needing a roof to justify one in Buffalo, that would ever COME to Buffalo. So, keep it open-air, and it's fine. (When I was at Highmark a year and a month ago, the one thing that threatened to ruin the experience? The wind. They're building this building to fix that.)

    Can't say I'm crazy about the architecture of any of these. They all look like space-age transporter hubs or something. I keep hoping for one with traditional architecture like many newer baseball stadiums.
    Also, the cost of these things is pretty outrageous for 8 or 9 game days a year and ensures that most fans will not be able to afford tickets very often. I believe there are two distinctions to consider when designing a stadium. First, have the spectators as close as possible to the field. It also amplifies the noise. Second, make the exterior as innovative as possible to increase national and international attention to the city. This means being really imaginative, such as the following stadiums: Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta; the Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing; the Munich Olympic Stadium; the Allianz Arena in Munich; Al Janoub Stadium in Qatar; and the AAMI Park in Melbourne. For a more traditional look, Wembley Stadium in London. It would have been very cool had the Buffalo Stadium invested in three-storey sized buffaloes looking like they are charging around the stadium. This would have been eye-catching. If I had to select my favourite new stadium mentioned on this video, I like the reflective design for Jacksonville.

Its a design proposed by the hated previous owner in a bad location next to a highway with the worst traffic in the DC Metroplex, with a capacity 10k less than their current average attendance as a losing team their average attendance, and too small to host a super bowl which would be the entire purpose of building a roof in the DC area. The sad thing is these stadiums will be built using taxpayer money. Then the same taxpayers will be charged a personal seat license just for the privilege to buy season tickets. So the taxpayers will be getting double dinged. Also, this is American football. It's played on a field not a pitch and we play games not matches. Also, we use elevators and not lifts.

    Why would Washington or Tennessee get new stadiums? Thier franchises are garbage. Jacksonville stadium isn't that old

      Stadiums do more than just football. The team doesn't have to been good for them to build a stadium when you can pull in the superbowl, wrestlemania and other huge events...

    Idk about some of these designs. 🤔 The Redskin's future stadium (not the woke pressed commanders) looks like a movie theatre booster seat, the Bills future stadium looks like a toilet seat and the jaguar's stadium looks like a futuristic bed pan. Nowadays, all stadiums are geared more towards nightlife-type entertainment: ridiculous. It's all profit based. This isn't football anymore; it's moneyball. Anyhow, stadiums like Soldier Field and Lambeau are iconic fields steeped in football lore and should stay untouched. These two have withstood the test of time. Our forefathers knew how to build long standing structures at a time when football was football. ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY DOLLAR....until it crashes....
