16 has been my favorite Caprice for longer than I can remember. Despite the acoustic challenges of the location and limitations of the recording, this is in the top five best performances I've seen to date. Bravo.
16th is truly charming. For me it’s like a life itself which if is adventurous has it´s ups and downs like a rollercoaster. Are you a violinist ? Did you play this caprice or you want to play someday ?
A fantastic and accurate performance marred by throwing her bow vertically with outstretched arm at the end. This so unnecessary, has become very popular these days and, in all probability, is derived from the fake photograph purporting to be of Paganini in just that position. In reality and according to eyewitness accounts Paganini, when in a similar position was about to thrash the bow onto the string, not off it. Nevertheless she did it play it beautifully.
