      They do! Core and steel have the clock and extended options. But at a significantly higher price and the pulse is already expensive.

  • @DNYLNY

    I know this isn't groundbreaking, but the time would've nice to have on a watch... so you could wear it more and not have to look for it when you need to play. Also, the time would encourage people to wear it outside, which would create a cool community, create a conversation; and take away the need to have to carry 2 watches while travelling. Not a deal breaker, but the time would've been a HUGE plus and justify the $99 price tag more.

    @6LQ6 Před 8 lety +16

    First device of it's kind?
    Peterson has offered a wearable metronome for a couple of years now, and the Peterson signal can be sent simultaneously to several musicians at once via Blue-tooth.
    If this device operates using a piezo then it vibrates instead of thumps, which is fine unless using very short intervals.
    Interesting design...I'll be checking it out.

      FPChris it is. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone but I know some bands who play to a click and need even more expensive in ear monitoring packs to do this. Now with the soundbrenner, it's possible to play to a click without in ear monitors!

    You didn't show or talk about adjusting the tempo on the fly on the device itself. This is what I need to know. If I am playing a gig and I need to dial in a specific tempo, say 125 bpm for a specific song, will I need to look at my smart phone as I dial in the tempo? Or will the tempo display on the device itself as I rotate the tempo ring?

    I just received the Pulse. I was very excited to try it with my DAW...until I realized the product does not support windows. Had I realized it does not with with windows I would never have ordered it. I'm blown away that a company would choose BT knowing that the BT architecture was not well supported with the most common OS in the world!! I guess it will sit on the shelf until there is one as I have no intention of going to Mac, and I'm not a big mobile user :(

    Question to the users out there : are the vibrations strong enough for you to feel tempo? Honestly, I tried to put it on different places but once I get the vibration of my acoustic guitar + my voice resonating in my body, the soundbrenner just doesn't do the job... Is it just me or you guys have similar experience with this product? A promising idea but just not living up to its promises...

    • @neilxify
      @neilxify Před 6 lety

      Djanta Official I’m 2 days in on acoustic guitar and agree with you. I’ll give it a few weeks to see if I get more sensitive to it. Fortunately it is on a 30 day sale or return with an online distributor.

    • @tabulaaaa
      @tabulaaaa Před 4 lety

      It's for recording in the studio, and playing to the click in cases of needing backing tracks. It's not everytime you can keep on the exact time with the backing track. It might even be a nice alternative to practicing with a metronome
