Have A Motorhome? Watch This First!👀 (Air Ride Seats & Horn!)

- In this BONUS episode of Wandering Wagners we add Air Ride Seats to our Super C RV, a 2020 Nexus Wraith 34W. The air compressor kit also came with an air horn so we added a true air horn too!
This video is being released out of order, so we could share this upgrade with other motorhome owners who were asking about the seats!
Our motorhome did not come with air, as it was stock with spring suspension, which we later upgraded to @LiquidSpring rear suspension (and you should too if you have a motorhome!) So we had to buy the air kit.
We bought it off of Amazon, It's a Vixen compressor and pump here's a link to check it out!:
The seats we purchased from our local @Internationaltruck dealership, Selking International. They are Legacy Silver in black leather. We had to purchase a base plate for them to bolt onto from the stock bolts. The seats were approx $730 each.
Air horn kit: amzn.to/3LR4UgQ
Mike spent all day installing the air system and running the wire and air lines. He also installed the air horns and we got to try those out before the night was over! They are pretty great and we love the sound! Loud but not obnoxious.
The following day we installed the air ride chairs once we removed the stock motorhome seats. They came out pretty easily and after the base plate was installed, the new seats bolted right up and hooked up the newly installed air lines and boom we were in business!
We took it out on our next trip and gave our feedback that we loved them!
Until next time, see ya!

The Life Alert joke didn’t go unnoticed lol 😂.
😂😂 good to know lol
You guys aren't afraid to tackle anything together! Perfect duo! 🇺🇸👍
Awe thank you! We do enjoy doing things together
You are a man of many talents Mike! NIce upgrades.
Jack of all trades haha thanks for watching, Scott!
Great addition! Love air ride seats. It really helps that you are mechanically inclined and can do your own upgrades. Saves money so you can get more upgrades!😃😃
It definitely helps that we can do pretty much all of our upgrades by ourselves! Very lucky there
Very nice seats ... I am jealous!
Definitely a great addition for our longer trips but we found we are excited to sit down now😂
Awesome improvement on the horn and the seats look great! You both did a wonderful job!
Thank you, Keith! Both upgrades were well worth the work and💸 money haha
Nice upgrade. Piper looked like she was ready to get the show on the road. She had the look like, "what's the hold up guys? I need my daily hike now."
Piper is always ready to roll lol
Might want to consider readjusting the tank. You want the drain valve on the bottom. You will get water in the tank like an air compressor system for the home garage you need to be able to drain the water.
The drain valve is on the bottom.
Awesome upgrade, well worth the $ seems
The seats are still one of our favorite upgrades! Well worth the money for as much time as we spend in them
I opted for air ride seats on my boat and it really does make a big difference. Very comfortable.
Oh yeah it would be great on a boat too!
Damn I need a nap just watching y’all working so hard! 💪
Haha you do love naps😜
@@WanderingWagners yup and always have. Not just since getting old lol
Now, that's a horn 😄
Haha thank you!
Hey guys. Very nice upgrade. I drive a Freightliner cascadia for work and use the air horn much more than city horn. People react faster!!!
Haha that's true!
Nice upgrade, Good job!
Thank you!😁
Good job Mike . And Lynn goes Weeeeee😉😉
Weeee!😂
glad you did not mess around with those nuts... yep nice and tight... Mike so glad you did this... can not wait to see how they do going down the road...
So far, we are loving this upgrade!😁
Nice Upgrade!! Those seat look amazing!! I Drive Tractors with Air ride, The Comfort is Outstanding.
They're definitely worth it to have air ride seats!
As Lynn said, the upgrade was well worth it. Enjoy!
Yes! Travel is so much better!
I would have thought Super Cs had air brakes and air bag suspension. Great job installing.
They normally do. We didn't want air brakes so that's why we went this route
Great video.. something that might be in my future after watching you guys!
Thanks! We are loving these new seats. Makes travel so much more enjoyable
Nice work… Mike is a handy guy and you know your way around the tool box as well… Nice looking seats… You can drop that seat low like an Ole Peter Car driver and peek over the dash…😂😂😂 y’all make a good team…
Thank you! It did take teamwork however Mike did most of the labor and he did an amazing job as usual!
Nice upgrades, don't forget to add the air blower to clean the floorboards under the new seats.
We always travel with a Milwaukee blower👍🏻
That air horn 👍👍 awesome job on the air tank and compressor install, seats went in easy
Thank you! The seats really did go in easier than we expected. A lot of work but really it was all worth it and we'd definitely do it again... Maybe sooner than we did😁
Nice upgrade for the butts. Nice upgrade having air anyway and horn. Now Mike has 2 nice seats for his garage also.
Our butts are riding happy now!
I thought the black would look out of place, but they actually look really good. I bet your backs will feel better on the longers trips you take. And the horns sound awesome.
We wondered the same thing about the color but after it was in, it was like it was always supposed to look like that! It really makes the cab look better to us
The seat is what I hate most about the rv that I have. Looks like a time consuming install but well worth it. Also bonus air compressor for when you air down the jeep tires! 😊. Thanks for the video.
It did take a lot of time but do it once and you're done! Well worth it to us haha
We did think if that about the air compressor😁 we travel with a portable one but this will better suit our needs
Now that’s an air horn. Love it. Keep it.
Yep! We like it
Love your content sorry im commenting on old videos but as I’ve said just found your channel keep up the amazing hard work.
Feel free to comment on any video of ours at any time! We appreciate the comment and watch😁
Man I wish those would rotate like my stock class a driver seats do. If they did, I'd buy them in a flash. Thanks for sharing!
We didn't want them to rotate. Not sure if truck seats do that... But I'm sure you can find some swivel air ride seats somewhere!
Interesting upgrade, as I looked at diesel pushers the thing that struck me was the lack of seat heaters and coolers given you were spending north of quarter of a million on them. They are only available when you get to the top of the line like the Entegra Cornerstone and not the Reatta's I was looking at. I would assume you could do the same swap with a DP (may have to fabricate your own base plate) and get the heat and cooling :) the air supply would not be a problem in that case. I also think the black seats look better in the front they match the cab more. Having never ridden in an 18 wheeler (either side of the pond) I would not know what they normally feel like.
We like the look of these seats vs the motorhome seats for sure! Makes the cab look put together imo.
I'm sure you could add air ride seats to any motorhome as long as you can bolt it up correctly. And it's worth it!
I installed a single Pinnacle with heat on the drivers side from Seats Incorporated. Drove up to Big Rig World in Hubbard, Ohio to get it, save hundreds on shipping. Seat are night and day. Seats Incorporated make a great seat. The seats are well made and so heavy to install by yourself, which I did.
The dealer had 1 pinnacle seat in inventory! It was super nice but only had one there. These seats have a great reputation and so far we are very happy!
@@WanderingWagners Yes there so nice, Mike did a super great job installing the air system and seats.
@@CraftingN112DR thank you!👍🏻
Wow, very cool upgrade. And Lynn, leather is the only way to go I agree.
Absolutely! After we got the seats installed Mike was convinced that leather was then they right way to go! Haha
I can't believe that truck didn't come with air ride. Rv manufacturers are just crazy in their designs.
Makes me want to add them to my gas rv holiday rambler. I drive truck for a living and know this would be nice. My practical side " if it's not broke, don't fix it" doesn't let me just replace stuff.
Is there a auto-shutoff on the compressor?
I installed a 90-120psi pressure switch. Honestly I didn't want air ride suspension because liquid spring is a much better ride for an RV.
I installed horns and compressor mainly for my air bags. Just kidding those horns are a real blast! See what I did there. Luv you guys
The horn is loud and we love the sound of it! The seats make travel much better😊
Those seats are awesome! Now you got me thinking about getting a set lol. I've always thought about them.
Thank you! Probably one of our favorite upgrades for comfort
Very nice!
Thank you!
Nice upgrades to your RV, I still say they should do a Wagner Addition. Keep up the good work.
Haha the Wagner editing would have to keep getting modified😜
I am doing a lot of upgrades on my 89 Fleetwood Limited 37' Class A, and the Air Ride Seats are on my "To Do" list.
Which is how I found your video. I'm thinking I may have to go with heated and cooling Semi Air Ride Seats in my Class A Coach. Already have a big compressor and 10 gallon tank for running air tools and airing up tires, so plumbing in seats will be no big deal. (Former Semi Truck Air Brake air tank.)
By the time I get it finished it will be a 400 HP Rocket that looks like a $Million Bucks.
It was a High End Rig in it's day, and my total makeover will make it even better than the day it rolled out of the Factory.
Now I'm going to have to watch more of your videos to see what else I might want to add to the "To DO: list.
Great Video Guys!
The heated seats are really nice but we are happy with ours. If you can/want to get the fancier heated seats, that's awesome!
Sounds like you'll be making that RV really nice! Enjoy😁👏🏻

Congratulations on the upgrade.
Looks interesting.
👍
Thanks! Makes travel way more comfortable now
Sounds like a train horn to me👍
Not technically a train horn but definitely a great addition📣
Great Upgrade !! The new and improved Butt Upgrade !! 🤣
Dang that should have been thenthumbnail words!👏🏻😂
Great video and that’s the way a ride should be👍🏼👍🏼!!
Thank you!😁
Now when Lynn is misbehaving you can push the ejection button. I'm glad you didn't show that aspect to the rest of the world. That can be our secret. LOL
Haha we opted for no eject button😜
@@WanderingWagners You should have opted for it just to keep her in line. We all know she can't be as well behaved as she shows on the channel. LOL
I love those seats! Nice job. They look like they add a lot of comfort while driving. I wonder if they could be mounted in a Class A (Tiffin), like we have? Thanks for sharing. -Todd
I'm sure you could add air ride to your tiffin as long as you can bolt them up!
Love the new seats!!! Look amazing!!!
Thank you! We are very happy with them so far👏🏻😁
very nice!!
Thank you!
No that’s an upgrade I want to do. Hubby keeps saying west coaster truck seats, wonder if they still make those.
It's worth it to upgrade to air ride seats!!👏🏻
Nice upgrade!
Thank you!
Another excellent video you guys!!! Very educational... And there's absolutely no danger of welding right about a battery 🔋👍 haha!!! I like you're style Mike!! And no offense intended but I could watch Lynn put in seats all day long!!😉 Thanks for sharing another excellent video!!! I always look forward to seeing the next one!!! Have a great weekend you two 👍👍
We like to live dangerously😜 haha
Glad you liked the video! Thanks for watching😁
Awesome
Thank you!
The Wraith has all kinds of amenities now!
I can hear you saying that😂
WHERES YOUR PROGRUM
Love the seats.
Thank you! We are loving them
o yea if your on the road a lot, which you guys are, traveling in comfort is a must. Glad you liked them. ")
Most definitely! We are loving this upgrade so much already!
Nice seats!
Thank you!
Now that was cool 😎
Thanks! They were great upgrades
Should check out Frostproof Florida someday, remote for Florida, plenty of RV parks, great bass fishing on their 2 large lakes.
Thanks we will look it up!
Niiiiice!!!
Thank you!😁 much nicer ride now
That’s Awesome, I would love to put those in my Seneca ! Do they still have the power adjustment ?
The only adjustment is forward or backwards which is manual. Everything else is air adjustment
Lynn how tall are you? I found your dangling feet oddly arousing 😂🤣
Those seats look badass!! Air ride is the best. I have it on my Jeep. I don’t know if I can go back to anything else.
I'm 5'7"
Thanks the seats are amazing!
we hope you have a lot of backlogged videos to take us through the cold weather months.... just sayin for a friend ))))
Haha we camp all winter long! No worries there😁
I don’t understand why you didn’t put air suspension in the RV to start with. As I recall you had the springs changed at quite an expense a while ago. then put your liquid suspension in when you should’ve put air in my opinion and had it over with . Now you’re adding air seats. My Prevost has air suspension and does not need air seats. Rides like a dream and no banging when you hit a bump.
Liquid spring is superior to air ride suspension, by FAR! We've had many air ride trucks and liquid spring is a smart suspension. Air seats are the way to go for a long lasting comfy ride on travel days.
Love your channel. I would be terrified to charge a chinese made air tank!!!
Pretty much everything is from China unfortunately lol
under that floor mat get sound deadener made a big diferance in my super c i just got the same seats
We actually don't find it noisy to us
@@WanderingWagners mine older international might be different in Freight liner
Thanks for this video. My wife is 4" 7" tall so her feet dangle with the stock seats. This sounds like the answer to the issue. Do they come in some shade of brown. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Selking had black and gray in stock when we picked these up. Not sure how many color options they have but here's a link to their site www.seatsinc.com/products/on-highway/legacy-series/legacy-series-silver/
@@WanderingWagners Thanks, looks like I can get them at West Michigan International.
Think you will love this upgrade
We already love it😁👏🏻👏🏻
Nice video. I wonder if they make a seat for a chevy Colorado?
Not sure but if you can get the mounting bolts to fit, why not!
Just watched ur video on the air ride seats, great video. Is your rig a super C? I have a super C with air brakes, would I still have to put in a compressor and air tank?
Thanks. Mick
Yes ours is a super C.
If you can run a line from the tank/compressor that's already there you shouldn't have to add one like we did.
Our rig doesn't have air brakes so we had to add the compressor and tank
Could you provide a link for the seats and the air/air horn kit? Thanks! Good job!
amzn.to/3LR4UgQ
Seats are manufactured from seats Inc and have to be purchased through one of their sellers. We bought them at our local international truck dealership where they had them in stock in their parts department.
@@WanderingWagners Thank you!
I asked my boss for a raise He said put air in my seat lol
😂 no extra money but you will feel bigger
I ordered the base for the seat but did you need to order the Legacy with low suspension to be closer to the pedals.
No it was just the standard height.
Now that you have had the air ride seats installed for some time, do you still think it is the way to go?
Absolutely! We wish we did this sooner, in fact. The ride and comfort is so much better
Where did you get the seats???? Would these work for the for the Freightliner chassis that the Jayco Seneca and the Entegra Accolade built on????
We bought these seats from Selking international in Stony ridge Ohio. You might be able to find a dealer closer to you though from this link. They make base plates for Freightliner so you should be good to go! These seats have been amazing! www.seatsinc.com/products/on-highway/legacy-series/legacy-series-silver/
WHAT ABOUT THAT DOOR SIDE ARM CAN YOU PUT THEM DOWN?
Yes, all the arm rests go up and down and are adjustable
I’m shocked that that coach doesn’t have air brakes. I’m quite sure it’s a diesel coach 🤔🤔
It is diesel, we prefer not to have air brakes.
I visited the seat page, but couldn’t find the seat, can you provide me the link, please?
Seats inc of the manufacturer, you'll have to purchase through one of their vendors.
www.seatsinc.com/products/on-highway/heritage-series/heritage-series-silver/
We purchased ours from our local international truck dealership
Do you need a special license to drive your rv? Class A or B?
Not in Ohio. Other states may require a non commercial class A/B. Only a handful of states require that for their residents.
Do these have airbags?
Yes they do
Have been wanting to change out the seats in my Accolade. The ones that came in it are JUNK !!! Can you share a link as to where y’all found these ?
We bought these from Selking international in Stony ridge Ohio but you may be able to find a dealer closer to you using this link. www.seatsinc.com/products/on-highway/legacy-series/legacy-series-silver/
Hello guys. Very nice video. I'm also trying to do something similar like you but I need your help about air compressor. Could you give me some information about air pressure you using, how mach is strong engine of compressor, how much is big tank for air?
Have you got any information about amount of air you consume per hour, how often engine working?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Sorry for my bad English but I hope you can understand me...
Best regards from Serbia.
This is the kit we bought off of Amazon: amzn.to/3oP2C8Q
It's been working out great for us since we added it. It works for the air ride seats and the air horn. Once it's up to pressure it shuts down unless we use enough air to where it kicks on again, which is pretty rare since once your seats are adjusted, not much air is needed after that.
Hopefully this helps and if you have any other questions, let us know😊
@@WanderingWagners Thanks a lot, you are wonderful. Tell me more about Air Ride Seats, are they really comfortable? I didn't have any chance to try them but I think it will be good solution for my sick back. I have plan to change my standard driver's seat with air ride seat, I hope it will help. Which brand of seat did you get? Could you recommend me some brand?
Thank you
Best regards from Serbia
@@darkodachic7955 yes three air ride seats are much more comfortable than regular RV seats. They are a lot more adjustable and have lumbar which our old seats did not have. We bought the seats from our local international truck dealership and the seats are made by a company called Seats Inc. ours are called "Legacy Silver". They have different types of seats to choose from.
@@WanderingWagners That brand of seats we haven't here but I will try to change my seat with some ISRI seat from truck, I hope it will be good.
Thanks a lot guys. I hope you will enjoy in yours trips with air ride seats.

@@darkodachic7955 best of luck on finding the right seat for your rig!
Can you install this seats in a regular class c ?
It depends on how high off the floor the current seats sit etc
You can sell those seats
The old ones? We've been trying to get rid of them for weeks😂
Oviously passenger side two people you and Pipers so it's heavy
Air ride is adjustable with a touch of the button!☺️
@@WanderingWagners is it safe when you breaking
@@bhaskarparam9711 the seats? Yes. It's safe
What’s the length of your tv?
The RV? It's 34'total
I have been looking to add air ride seats to my ghost. Can you tell me we’re you bought the base plate that matched the nexus chassis?
Selking international in Stony ridge Ohio. Part number S178341PS. Made by seats incorporated.
With money these super c are why not come from factories with air seat
Certain chassis have air some don't. Even though it's "expensive" to some it's not in the world of super c's. Most RV chassis' don't have air ride seats because they get the cheap seats in the chassis from the factory because they're going to remove them anyway to put in their "RV" seats. Unless you go class 8 semi chassis you probably won't get that option
My seats need to be about 2 inches lower, I have short legs.
These go lower than our stock motorhome seats. They were too high too
My Nathan-Airchime K3LA is still better!! LOL
To power it I have a 13 gal air tank @ 150 psi (2 gal tank wasn't good enough), since it does EATS the air
Haha we definitely didn't want something that big📣😁
@@WanderingWagners Got to remember that this Train Horn and E-Bell is on a 2006 Scion XB (small box vehicle) and it can't be seen, only the air tank can be seen in the cargo area up close.

Grover Stuttertones baby !
A semi truck Diesel engine does not have air brakes?
Not all of them. This chassis came with spring suspension and hydraulic brakes.
Ok. Just retired truck driver and always under the assumption all diesel big trucks had air brakes. Since you’re class c is built on a truck chassis I just assumed air brakes were standard. Thanks 🤓
Couldn't you wire the air relay for the big horns into the center of the wheel, and make it your one & only horn? Seems a bit un-handy to have that switch down away from you so low, and, who needs that weenie "city" horn when you now have a setup that you could use in a truck-stop without getting laughed out of the place? 🤣🤣
Yes you could and we thought about it but wanted the different horns for different situations.
