Star Wars Theory I have a new therory that you might be able to build off of about snoke not being dead: at the end when Rey looks down the Falcon ramp, Kylo and her get connected again through the force. If snoke were to be dead, how would this be? Snoke set up and controls this connection between the two, so if he is truly dead, their connection should be too! I think this could be a potential thought for you to think about and even make a video on, and if it does come down to that i would love that! Vader’s suit didn’t protect him from blaster bolts. He could absorb the energy from the bolts and turn it into Force energy. It’s explained in the book I, Jedi.

The burnt alive part wasn't a thing back when the original trilogy was made, and later releases actually edited out the eyebrows on Anakin at the end.

its actually a step up from what he used to be in a way. in a lightsabers duel the force plays a huge part even if we cant actively see it, telekinesis is just the tipof what the force can do. the combatants are shielding themselves from force attack, seeing into the immediate future, strengthening and speeding up their bodies and playing mind games with each other through the force, and vader became an unrivalled master of this. sure he didn't have a wide range of movement, but he knew where you would be before you did, he hit like a train on turbo, he could move faster then expected, his armour was blaster and sabre resistant even if you got past the sabre and all the while he was worming his way into your head and crushing your ability to think, to fight back. anakin looked good, he looked flashy and showed off, but it was vader who was far more dangerous.
I honestly disagree. Hubris was the only reason anakin lost the duel vs obi. Anakin was stronger than current Vader in my opinion.

Answer: He felt that he deserved the torture for believing Palpatine's lies in the first place. Also because Palpatine had intentionally made his suit and his cybernetics so that it was hard to impossible to upgrade them past a certain point.

The emperor had the suit purposefully designed in a way that would cause him an incredible amount of discomfort, as well ensure that Vader would never be capable of overpowering him.

Same! However, many of these theories are fun and seeing many be realized is pretty cool too! I also do agree many things are left hidden for us to figure out, which is why I love this franchise. They're so fun and beautiful, I really am so happy The Last Jedi was a very good movie in my opinion.

He would have been better at dueling but weaker in the dark side. Palpatine would have probably tried to get rid of him sooner.
His movements would drastically improve and become more powerful than Palpatine, as a result, he would've had the ability to over throw the emperor and try to make luke join the dark side

He would not have been more powerful than Palpatine. He would have been stronger if he still had his limbs but not from having a better suit. Palpatine would not have been interested in a duel. It would have been decided with the dark side and that battle was lost when he got beat by Obiwan. Look at what Palpatine did when he fough Yoda. He moved to a large open area to get away from pure saber duel. That's how he won that fight.
This is really interesting, very much bridges the gap between what happened and why something else didn't. I'm glad we fans can get in-universe explanations like this, rather than have to just resort to behind the scenes info. Nice video, man.

First reason I could think of when I saw the title: he didn't want to upgrade it because the new suit could make him more vulnerable to Palpatines abilities.

I've been thinking a lot about this line Darth Vader in A New Hope "The last time I felt it was in the presence of my old master". It's rare to find Vader talking about his past as Anakin as if he was the same person.

Hey man loved this video and all of them since I found your channel. I'm not sure if you've done a video on this but I remember reading in some old old star wars comic/book/magazine that luke married an assassin sent to kill him and that Leia became a Jedi too. More to that Leia and hans twins trained as Jedi but when their younger brother Anakin was killed the daughter turned to the darkside to avenge her brother. And something else about the emperor cloning himself. Is this canon ornlegends or did these old books not tie in at all. I don't have them any more but I'd like to find out

Hey bud, love your channel but you're a bit behind (understandable as this only recently came out). Read Darth Vader #6 by Charles Soule, it addresses this directly with Vader showing anger to Palpatine over the suit, Palpatine acquiesces and tells Vader to upgrade the suit as he sees fit, then Vader does indeed upgrade his suit.
He should have upgraded his suit to be more athletic so he could kill anyone or anything

I remember years ago I had an idea for a fighting game, sorta like Smash Brothers, that had lots of different famous characters. I got the idea for Vader to have an updated suit. The arms could rotate and stuff. Guess they kinda did that with General Grievous.

He should have upgraded the suit
He actually does upgrade the suit in Darth Vader #6 by Charles Soule, it came out in October. Palpatine senses his anger over the suit and agrees that Vader can upgrade the suit. It's a cool scene, Vader does some of the upgrade using the force to telekinetically wield the tools while he is in a bacta tank.
Next you should do why in return of the Jedi when palpitine used force lighting on Luke his face didn’t get wrinkled like palpitine in reveng of the sith

Tragic story... but it gave him determination and power through his suffering. If he got the upgrade maybe his mindset would be different (not thinking of the past, not feeling guilt, etc.), more on thinking about the empire not his personal goals.
