- Josep (José) Carreras has always been a great admirer of Frank Sinatra. In this clip, he sings Sinatra's classic "My way" in his own language, in Catalan.
Pictures of "his" way - a man whose life is as remarkable as his voice: A child protigy who debuted at Barcelona's Gran Teatre del Liceu at the age of 11, his meteoric carreer as an adult, his victory over leukemia... His 1990 concert with Luciano Pavarotti and Plácido Domingo became the best-selling classical album in history, and he has sung the olympic anthem of the 1992 Barcelona Games. His most important achievement in life, though, is his tireless dedication to the fight against leukemia. Since his recovery in 1988, he has been giving hope and the chance for a new live to so many patients and their families. - Gràcies per tot, i per molts anys, Josep!
