DIY Christmas Tree Box (Collapsible with Interlocking Joints)

  • Check out this christmas tree box I made from scrap plywood and one 2x6!
    Materials:
    Plywood (any thickness, I used 5/8") - at least 8 sqft
    2x6 (or similar) x1
    1" brad nails
    Wood glue

    Dimensions:
    ** I highly recommend building this piece by piece measuring each one at a time, as I did in the video. Any variance in your cuts or material size will skew the dimensions **
    Plywood panels - 12" x 24" x 5/8"
    Top/bottom trim (X pieces) - 24" (x4)
    Top/bottom trim (non-X pieces) - 26.25" (x4)
    Vertical trim - 9" (x8)
    Diagonal trim - 26"ish (x4)

    Built this yesterday, didn’t have scrap plywood, but got a 2x4 sheet of 1/2 for 24 bucks. Great video, saved me $$$ from her buying one offline.
