I agree. But I like seeing adults get overwhelmed by dog/cat gifts as well. As I am someone who shouldn't be a pet owner, I'm selfish and whatnot

The joy in people is heartwarming. However, the woman who screamed & hit the box when realising her gift was a puppy enraged me. The whole group were squealing, the dad yelling. A bad environment for a tiny animal with super sensitive hearing. Horrifying.
I concur. That poor puppy must have been petrified, and the woman was old enough to know better than to behave like that. Inexcusable.

All sweet. I could never purchase a puppy or even adopt a puppy when there are millions of homeless dogs who have no homes. Everyone wants a puppy.
So...rescue a homeless dog. I rescued one running around a downtown parking lot, apparently dumped. No collar or chip. That's Sam in my photo.

The last one was perfect, matching sweaters made it. We have an 11 wk.old mini dachshund, Lucy, 4 chiweenies and a beagle mix jack Russell. Everyone taught her all the bad habits, especially Maisie and Bella took to her off the bat. I thought Chuck was gonna be bad but he's cool, aka the Sergeant Major of the group. They all hold military rank, Maybelline got busted once Buster loves amphibious maneuvers, Maisie the expert in camouflage and bath evasion, Bella the field instructor on land navigation, Chuck the observations NCOIC, Lucy made it to Spec 4 today, then there's Major Patches, a pomeranian, through the ranks regular Army and Lt.Chi Chi Rodriguez, counterintelligence and interrogations. Lucy is learning hand to hand combat.

I think I can honestly say that the bald guy who reacted to his new dog by using the f-word over and over again just missed being a Hallmark moment.
I don't understand human emotions that well, are they crying because they are sad or happy? I get confused when I see this.
In the first clip - WHY present the puppy to the two kids.. and THEN tell them she's not coming home yet ! Way to screw with your kids heads (and emotions).
I’m sorry, as a now retired veterinary nurse; you just handed two children a Rottweiler/Cane Corso mix?? Besides losing your GD mind, You’d better be signed up for training classes and have everyone else in the family on board, that dog has the potential to be a nightmare if not trained correctly.
