The whole focus on the right side coming through completely changed my swing and consistency. Really pushing the right side through and the shoulder going down, keeping the angle of the right wrist.. one video with Pete Cowen and Danny Maude transformed everything. Saying the finish was a result of doing this right side push . Amazing ball striking ,divots.. You're teaching the same which is great. Everyone just uses different methods of explaining the same.. thank God for youtube instructions . If guys like you and Danny Maude didn't make these videos many golfers would have probably quit lol
Agree with all your points!
100% agreed!
Eric- you have had a lot of good videos, but this is one of the best. I’m sure I’ll be watching this lesson several more times. It captured everything that I’ve been working on. Thanks
Appreciate it Steve!
I just put this lesson on repeat. It’s the best. Thanks
Thanks Steve!
I love how thorough you are in explaining the steps needed to train the swing techniques.
Appreciate it!
great lesson!! when you got to the head movement piece, it was amazing to see Adam Scotts head did not move at all despite how much hip and body turn he has.
👊👊
Appreciate you being here with us!
Great fundamentals EC. I often get caught up with so many thoughts in my head during my swing but these 3 points get me back where I need to be. Thank you from TX!
Thanks John! Hope this one serves you well!
I love this, Eric! However, it seems to work better for my short irons with my trail shoulder and really off in longer clubs, especially driver.
Hey! I hear ya----could be several reasons for that.
1. Make sure longer clubs setup is correct. Ball more forward and more tilt like this:
czcams.com/video/sJd-0eEQU0w/video.html&pp=ygUaRXJpYyBDb2dvcm5vIGJhbGwgcG9zaXRpb24%3D
2. The longer the club the more AROUND you want your swing plane:
czcams.com/video/uUSLNi4OSBU/video.html&pp=ygUbRXJpYyBDb2dvcm5vIGRyaXZlciB2cyBpcm9u
3. The longer the club....as the trail shoulder goes down....the HEAD needs to stay more BACK

Hope that helps some. If not send your swings to www.cogornogolf.com and we will solve
Wow amazing video Eric ..a plus with arm straight for me ..I watched this a ton of times and will watch it a ton more ..just fantastic..thanks
Thanks Edward! Hope it helps!
Great tips, as always. For me, the most important, and difficult, is the shoulder down. If I can get that part down, it'll minimize, or eliminate my out to in swing path. Fixing my pulls and fades. Thanks all the videos.
100%
Thanks dan!
Fantastic video summarizing the basics. I've kind of pieced it together from other videos of yours, but this pulls it all together. My contact has really improved. I find the keeping the trail shoulder down the hardest part. Also getting the lead wrist flat to bowed before downswinging was key for me. My 3/4 swing now goes as far as my full swing used to. Working on applying maintaining these fundamentals with the full backswing. You have a good way of keeping it simple for high handicappers such as myself.
Appreciate it! Sounds like you are on the right track! We're here to help if you run into any issues!
That's Excellent! Very enlightening!😊
Thanks Mike!!
3 for 1 and 1 for 3 ... smart teaching, thanks 👍
Yes :)
Great video.
Thanks!
Thank you Eric, three really good points..
Our pleasure!
straight gold as usual
Thank you!
Since I learned the importance of the right shoulder it's become my only thought, getting that right shoulder down and through, while staying connected, it has also helped my short game tremendously. Again with the short game I think get the right shoulder down and through. It feels like my baseball days with focusing on the right side swinging thru.. so simple once you learn this
Love it!
Top shelf again! I’ve got to get to FL 😂
Thank you :)
Great thanks Tom 😮
:)
I shot 79 today. Weight forward, shoulder down, arms straight. The 3 keys to an improving. Thanks
Love it Steve!
Another perfect instruction video. I sent this to 2 other people. Hey Eric, got any lessons on training my wife to follow my lead on life?
Thanks Dan!
Have a new personal development channel launching next month---that may help for that :)
sounds like stack and tilt!
For sure! Just a good swing!
Great simplified visual Eric. Like that clubhead out 6ft as as a target. Two things: you look like you pivot off your left heel as you turn on your swing thru. Do you have a specific feeling re: that? Second, do the hips rotate as you contact the ball, not before? Have a wonderful Christmas week-Russ
Thanks Russ!
No feel for that for me---just happens naturally
They rotate the entire downswing really.....

czcams.com/video/6irUrZKLvv8/video.html&pp=ygUjRXJpYyBDb2dvcm5vIGRvd25zd2luZyBoaXAgcm90YXRpb24%3D
Some of those may help re downswing hip rotation details
Just the lesson our pro was giving me 3 days ago. Can you translate this to driver and fairway woods? Do you modify this for those types of clubs?
For sure----same principles apply.
There are some differences with driver.....mainly setup related and head more back in downswing.
Some on the differences with driver here:

I've been trying for months to get this. But I don't know if it's because of all sports that I played in my life, I just don't trust the fact that the clubhead is going to meet the ball without me actually trying to swing the club head at the ball. I've gotten so good at hitting on the centre of the face, but with a completely vertical shaft. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my body and mind to understand that it can hit the golf ball with shaft lean. The fact that the club head is behind me makes no sense to my brain. I just can't get it.
🏴👍
Thanks Peter!
