First of all thank you for your amazing response. I appreciate every single comment! Here is a brief overview for those that may not have understood the story line of the video:
The concept behind our music video was to represent different factions of society and their own personal struggles one of which being mental illness. Their leaders are exploiting their weaknesses by forcing them to battle each other, whilst exposing them to the emperor, a representative of the society which decides to blindly judge the tribes in the video. The cheering crowd symbolises individuals who would rather choose to believe the prejudices in society, rather than forming their own opinion.
The box is a representation of the state of mind one goes through when fighting his personal battles. My role in the music video was to willingly enter the ring, on a mission to break the taboo and lead the rest of the factions to winning over their own personal struggles, without the fear of seeking help.
Christabelle you really deserve to win the contest, the message is all about eurovision is for, you will do it great, greetings from Bolivia, south América

My interpertation of the music video as a person who struggles with mental health issues:
You can see Christabelle in two "worlds"
The "world" where she is seen by "foreign eyes", where she is sold and mistreated, the world where she has to fight other people for seemingly no reason...
this "world" represent the constant struggle a person with mental health is facing every single day.
The other "world" is the place where she aspires to be, where she is finally herself and free of the control of the disease, a place where the "Taboo" is broken... yet still seems so
far out of reach that it's an illusion.. It's represented by a dance floor, a place where you can shake off all your worries and "Let your guard down"
You got it . She suffers of a mental ilness and wants to help others who are in the same thing with this song . Such a great woman👑👑 OUR QUEEN 👑👑
When there are the people who are in red:Christabelle(ect) and the people in black in the box fighting it means that the prople in black are the mental illness and Christabelle is the person is finally winning after her friends had suffered.
And when she is alone jn a forest that means that she found peace in the dark and loneliness.
When she is in a box alone with people around her that means that she is trying to escape the stigma of thinking that mental illness is a TABOO wich it isnt.

Very professional team stands behind this song and lyrics are deep and profound if you understand them. I think she has potential for qualification because of the live performance. I totally agree! It's my personal favourite of the year for sure, but I haven't seen it in a lot of other peoples top 10 lists. Too bad, cause it's so catchy and deep, and I love that it's something else than just another love song. Not to forget, the music video is amazing. 12 points from Norway! My favorite countries in Esc are San Marino, Portugal, Malta and Iceland (Latvia maybe), but this year I only like Portugal from my favorite countries bias. Countries I do not like are Bulgaria, Cyprus and Azerbaijan (maybe Sweden since we dislike our Swedish brothers)

As a Maltese citizen I do agree with you about the seweden/australia comment. But the thing is with the damn televoting we do poorly because if you see previous song with the jury like Amber 2015 we would have passed to the final but the televoting inly holds us back😥

I don‘t get why so many generic dated pop songs with replaceable lyrics like Austria and Cyprus do so well in the ratings while this masterpiece is being left behind. I mean, it’s a catchy tune, it‘s very contemporary, the arrangement and overall production are on point and the lyrics are meaningful. I hope people will acknowledge the quality of this by the time the rehearsals are taking place.

kostas the greek Actually the second semi is a harder challenge than first.
In my opinion, fist semifinal is full of potential and high quality songs, while second semifinal is 'stronger' just because countries who are always qualifying are present, which means less space in the finals for smaller countries who are underrated by big names such as Sweden, Australia, Romania, Russia...
The second semi is just deadly because of who's competing there, but Semi-1 has a greater proportion of the better songs; and this year it's mostly from countries you don't expect XD - ( just my opinion )

This could be a repeat of Poland 2016. Definitely a dark horse, but deserves the win! Malta has come so close on so many occasions, and if they had more neighbours they definitely would have one at least twice. Really hope people pay attention to the quality and message behind the song, rather than vote for neighbours this year. If so, Malta will be in with a real chance.
