Think about it, he fights for the frame gets the snooker, respotted black, wins the frame, 12-9..
Next frame gets a good run of the balls, 12-10..
Gilbert is suddenly feeling the pressure & not playing the same, 12-11... He's suddenly 1 frame behind, after something like 45 minutes. I've seen it happen so many times. Was very disappointed to see him not even attempt the safety shot or snooker on the green even if he was hampered by the pink.
He probably thought even if I win this one I'm not getting another 4 in a row
@frankfrank at least continue playing and try for a few snookers/ see what develops , it would kill me looking back and wondering what if in this frame. It’s also very unsporting and not respecting the gravity of the tournament either imho.
