I am building my ranger currently and I was thinking about possibly doing a twin turbo by remote mounting the battery for one turbo and the other one mirroring it
What turbo kit would you recommend I want to put one on my 94 4.0 but I’m not sure where to start looking and I get a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out what would fit I’m willing to take out the ac stuff since my ac doesn’t work at all and will all need to be replaced anyway but if you could reply with helpful tips would awesome and appreciated
Unfortunately there is no turbo kit available for these trucks. you have to make one yourself. i got rid of a/c and heat because this is basically my weekend truck.
if you want to keep it simple you could do a rear mount turbo. you can keep the engine bay pretty much untouched. i built one awhile back and id definitely do it again because it didnt really have any lag and it was still a blast to drive.
@@BurntGaming03 the hotside i just used 2" exhaust pipe and a t 3 manifold. turbo kits arent super complicated until you get to the cold side really. and even then its just aluminum pipe, and intercooler, some couplers, and t bolt clamps

I got a 4.0 boosted Ranger too but I’m looking for a tune. How did you tune yours?
i tuned mine myself, its still a work in progress. currently doing a ton of suspension and brake work on it,
What size turbo? Did you get it tuned? Also what size injectors?
just an ebay turbo for now lol, its a 61mm. i tuned it to drive myself and im running 24lb injectors for now
When will we get to see a pull? I need to see that
soon hopefully. im working on an e85 tune for it right now and im fighting with my ethanol sensor not working
