I think 2014 was absolute peak Rodgers. He was a damn magician at avoiding the sack and able to still launch it downfield or laser it through double coverage.
Agreed. This was Rodgers best team to not win it. Nelson and Cobb earned their first pro bowls. Rodgers won MVP. Lacy had 1000 season. Defense was 14th in total defense. This team was more balanced than the 2011 team 1 onside kick ruined it 😑
@@mrfaade304 Shouldn't have happened if Mccarthy didn't settle for field goals at the 1 yard line. They should have been up 31-0 in the first half especially picking of Wilson 2 or 3 times in the first half
I was at this game and that throw for a TD that was called back was easily the best throw I’ve ever seen by a QB! Off balance, throwing back the other way, incredibly accurate, over 40 yards, it was unbelievable!
That 2nd INT to Shields, where was Cutler throwing? Absolutely hilarious, 2-11 all time record vs GB, 16 TD's 23 INT's, it's absurd that vs almost every other team Cutler was competent, but against GB he would just fall flat every time.
He used to SLING it man, he was godlike for 6 years straight. Not saying he isnt amazing now, but my god that rodgers was only beatable because of an onside kick
Jordy Nelson was such a great target for Rodgers. Always seem to be on the same page on every play. How GB lowballed him when he went to Oakland was a STUPID MOVE.
Jordy was getting pushed off the field by Adams and Cobb in 2017. Then they drafted MVS and had Geronimo on the roster in 2018, who were both better than Jordy at the time. It was a lot of money to justify paying a WR5. They moved on from him at the perfect time.
Announcer said “and I don’t think Chicago’s going away...”. Announcers drive me crazy They talk so much they contradict themselves and make great predictions based on their expertise of the game. Chicago went 5-11 that year.

Favre and Rodgers both genius RedZone passers . Times when They have to throw frozen rope tracers into traffic and give to their receivers To win the battle on that end of it .
Our offense needed no help but our defense did and the best we could do was Julius Peppers. Don’t get me wrong he was great for us but we could have picked up some linebackers
This bears team was just plagued. 2014 was the worst bears team I've ever witnessed. Even in 2016 when they went 3-13, they atleast fought! This team just layed down and took whoopings after whoopings
I still don't understand the bears fan's hate of jay cutler, he was the best qb since sid luckman they've had. McMahon backed up favre in the superbowl so I don't really want to hear he was better. When you got the most dominant defense of the decade and a hall of famer for running back it's kinda easy to be qb. Just look at Russel wilson
I don’t know why the R-E-L-A-X quote still keeps getting brought up. It would have made sense if they made the SB but this season ended with one of the biggest collapses in a playoff game ever.
