  • Here are my opinions on the Packers top plays of all time. It was a hard decision but I was able to figure it out eventually. Being a Packers fan is basically the best and what would I do without the Green Bay Packers. Basiclly, this video makes you and shows you why being a Packer fan is the best and shows facts of the plays itself. Without further ado, I present my choices for the Green Bay Packers Top 25 plays of all time. Here we go

IT was a game changer for certain , but it was in 1982 , MNF 9/ 20/ 1982 . I remember the date because it was the last game before the players strike . I just happened to be at the game . Our Pack section was getting harassed by the Giants fans as they were pretty much having their way with us Until that play !!! The lights were going on and off. as was the rain . Then we pulled off the End Around !!!! The Key block was thrown by Lynn Dickey , and he cut down a young LT # 56 . James was high stepping on their 40 yd line !!! . It completely changed the game as the Giant Hecklers fell silent . It was fabulous . I am not being disrespectful by noting it was 1982. As Packer Backers , didn't get to see many games back East . And after our glory years , we had to be " patient " till we started to win again .But certainly , that call for a " Gadget Play " indeed was in my top memories . I Also remember Robbies ( Dave ) forcing Dandy Don Meredith desperation throw in Dallas in the 1966 title game. Tom Brown had the int in EZ that preserved the victory that sent us to SB 1 . I believe that okay by Dave Robinson was historic as well . I am certain there are many , many terrific plays over the years that individually we recall . I've been fortunate to have been able to recall so many of them . From the time we were lucky to have enough cash to play till these multibillions the NFL generate now .Go Pack Go

Not a single play but a series of plays (if you put in the Irv Favre game this counts too) holding Barry Sanders to -1 yd rushing in the wild card playoff game. Also ....where did I put my soap box, ah yes. The Sharpe TD vs Detroit illustrates why , along with his back to back record setting 100+ reception seasons as well as his body of work in general , Sterling Sharpe belongs in the HoF. 64 seconds to go 40 yds away Packers know they have to get the ball to Sharpe, the Lions know it, 80,000 in the stands know it, the millions AND MILLIONS of fans watch at home know it yet he still gets 10 yds behind the Defense and scores the game winner! If Sayers and Davis can get in with injury shortened careers #84 belongs there too. In his day not Tim Brown not M. Irvin not A. Reed (all HoFers) were as feared or effective as Sharpe only J. Rice compairs.

Absolutely agree with this comment. Farve also threw across the field as he was traveling to his left. One of farve's best throws ever. I also agree that Sterling sharp should be in the Hall of Fame. He would have been one of the best receivers to Jerry Rice during that time.

I assumed there would be 2 pre-Favre plays. 1. Majkowski to Sharpe in 1987 against the Bears. 2. Starr QB sneak in the ice bowl as #1. I was surprised to see one more, the Max McGee one-hander in SBI. There is a massive bias in these videos for anything in the last 30 years. The Packers had many great plays before Favre, but I understand that it's not as good of. a video without footage. To those doing more of these- the Packers had a great offense in the early 1980's.
