- Everybody loves to travel and go on vacation. Cat Nanny is no exception.
She travelled from the Rocky mountains in the North, all the way to the Pacific Ocean in the South. She soon discovered that her vacation destination was a little more confined than normal ranch life. She couldn’t roam free in the city as it wasn’t so safe, so she needed to demand walks under full protection of her body guard whenever she could. She still liked to participate in all activities wherever possible.

Nanny is identical to my Bootsy. Today is the one year anniversary of Bootsys passing. She was in my life for 21 years. I could teach her new things all throughout her life. I do miss her very much. 🐈
Sorry for your loss. I know how attached we become to our fur babies. I just had to have my 11 yr. old German Shepherd put down in May. I am still heartbroken. I miss him everyday. I did adopt a wee kitten in June. He is helping to fill the void, but never will replace my beloved companion , Tucker. God bless you, Nancy in Maine

They got along so well, and the cat is so smart, I kept expecting the cat to take away the camera and start filming her owner.
If you've a CAT LOVER and have never been owned by a "Main Coon" Cat, you are MISSING OUT! My Main Coon's name was "Maggie". She was SO Sweet and Affectionate and I believe she might have been part dog :D ----as she would stand on her hind legs and "Chirp" instead of Meow. Main Coons are usually very easy going cats---when they lay on their backs --they are telling you they FEEL SAFE and COMFORTABLE around you. Main Coons DO love the OUTDOORS occasionally. Maggie loved to chase squirrels/birds as well as play and drink from the the Lawn Sprinkler! Yes, my Maggie Loved WATER from the kitchen faucet too. Maggie has been gone a long time but I still LOVE the MEMORIES she gave me and two daughters when they were growing up.

Speaking of her next big adventure....Nanny just sent me a text letting me know that she REALLY wanted to GO SOUTH. She said she wanted to visit Charleston, SC. Weird thing....that just happens to be where I live. So we worked out the details and I've got everything ready for her. She has agreed to do the same for me. She will be a nurse for week or two, while I get to lay on the post, watch the horses run, read magazines, make cool things out of wood, and lounge on the floor while watching TV. I told her to consider it a favor bc it was going to be hard work covering for her. So we just wanted to keep you in the loop.

I have a 3 year old male that lived in a semi truck his 1st 2 years. Walks on a leash, sleeps on the dash and sticks his head out the window while I drive. No one has a clue till they get a Maine-coon!
Drive extra safe if your pet is in the vehicle 🚗 not in a carrier. Imagine a cat 🐈 doing 60mph into your windshield. Safety number 1. Such a gorgeous feline ✨🌹✨🦁

In case anyone was wondering...she is a Maine Coon. That's why she's so well behaved. They are EXTREMELY loyal to their owners. I've had 3 and will be getting another end of the year. They are the dogs of the cat world, they are aka gentle giants. I do have to say she is exceptional. I've only had male Maine Coons. We adopted a set in the same foster home, but not related. They're average kitties. Our female will only allow myself and nephew to give her attention. Otherwise she's like big foot. She exists but you have to see her to believe she exists. Meaning she hides all day and only comes out when she wants, feeding time or to use the litter box. Animals ARE a product of their owners. If one treats the animal as part of the family and not just considering them a pet, that's when they thrive. I always say "I'd leave a man if he asked me to get rid of my pets....they'd never leave me for another cat or dog".

This made me cry. I had a cat that looked exactly like her. Mine was a boy I called Ghost. I don't know where he came from and he had been declawed. He was a gentle giant. I've had alot of cats in my time, but some just stick in your memory more than others ❤🐈

Robyn Eller- Nanny must be a close cousin of my Mithril (2003-2014)! She lacks the elegant ear tufts, her face is more feminine, and she is probably 10 lbs lighter, but her coloring, coat, paws are nearly identical!
Mithril, "Mitty", was sooo shy and retiring though, he would have had a heart attack at any of Nanny's hobbies!
I understand..., my cat passed away november 2020, after 15 beautiful years, I miss her so much, helps me to see I'm not the only one...to see Nanny it gives me a lot of joy and bring back memories...

My cat used to have her own papers to “work on” so she’d leave most of mine alone. She loved to “help” me in my office. Everything belongs to the kitty.
She’d find a pile of papers, sit on them and then do a loud purr-call to me so I’d turn around and notice she’d claimed more papers. She knew I thought it was cute and knew that calling attention to her naughtiness was going to result in getting kissed and loved on. I miss her greatly.
I loved this amazing video, but it made me realize that a cat has nicer vacations and a better quality of life than I do! I think it's time for me to re-evaluate my situation - haha. Gotta start getting me some of that sweet chilled-out #NannyLifestyle

I have watched this video before but felt compelled to comment again after watching it yet another time. I have seen all the videos with Nanny and am always amazed at how social she is and how she has adjusted to all the situations that we see her in. She is the epitome of what we all would love to have in our own cats. You have done an obviously superb job of raising and socializing her. I can't say enough about how great she is and I have commented on her many times. All the videos you have done are so engaging with the great scenery and situations that she gets in. I must also say I have watched the other videos with the other cats and they get the same response from me. Please keep the videos coming, we know it's some work to do them but rest assured that we love them very much and appreciate your efforts, thanks.
