- Greenish Gold! One of the many golds one could imagine with mica and this is the ''greenish'' version! A shimmery wink to my PY129 Green Gold single pigment watercolor paint.
A base of PW20 mica, coloured with PW6 titanium dioxide, PR101 iron oxide and viridian green PG18. This is my Greenish Gold Mica.
I offer a small range of complementary micas to my line of single pigment paints. It took a while to take the step since I wanted to find a supplier who could offer me all the pigments used to color the natural PW20.
If I don’t know what’s in a pigment, so I can tell you, the customer, I won’t buy/use it! (except for vintage finds from old studios and monasteries… that's a story for a different time).
My shop will open again later this month, check here! creatoriq.cc/3L7SbG1

Thanks Laurens, interesting watching how these mica pigments move in the liquid. A cooler gold vs the original warm gold pigment.
This does look like PY129! I know many people struggle to find subject matters for mica paints. I use them for iridescent bugs, as highlights, even painting clouds on a dark background (I think this would look gorgeous as a cloudscape).
Nice pigment mix! I’m not much of a gold user, but I imagine botanical artists will find it useful.
I am not a watercolor artist, but I do use mica watercolors for calligraphy work. I also happen to have quite a bit of micas that I use for soapmaking, so I’m starting to learn how to make my own metallic inks/watercolors. Thank you for your channel!
A lovely old gold tone.
4th! I know... but any comment still helps with the algorithm.

i think i have this color in a Kuretake set. haven't used it much though.
