    Larry Burkett's book on "Giving and Tithing" drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2021 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 30,000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today, 1 receive 75,000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas, CA, and travel a lot. God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams.
    God kept to his promises to and for me

    This time should also be an encouragement to the Jews. That bad things ONLY happen to Israel when the Israelites sin against God. I hope Israel remember that God did not allow all the Israelites who came out of Egypt to step on the "promise land". It's shocking to see the LGBTQ community parade in Israel. What happened to the people of God who He set apart to show the world the holiness of their God? Israel has just become like the people of the world, like the Gentiles. Was October 7 which happened on a Sabbath, a reminder that God's covenant with EACH generation of Israelites is conditional, follow Him and He will bless and protect you. Remember who you people are.

    It is an overstatement to suggest that "sadness" is of no value (ie. "there is never a good time for sadness"). "Sadness", itself, can lead to reflection, and be an instigator for a corrective realism and a motivator for positive change. It is of value to feel emotion, including sadness, if that is not the endpoint.

    • @user-jn6jm4bb6f
      @user-jn6jm4bb6f Před 28 dny

      Sadness, turns you off, numbs the person. No desire of any kind at all. Deterioration from the state of a human being, to a still state, like a stone.
      Grief/mourning, on the other hand, is the feeling that your heart has been shattered into pieces, causing a person to completely stop the ongoing inertia of his life, raise his head, look around, take stock of his life, calculate a new course.
      This is the source of most important decisions and changes in our lives.
      If a person is off, he is sad.
      If he takes stock/reflecting, he is in mourning.
      A state of sadness is a temporary transitional state, to the state of mourning. But many times we get stuck in the state of sadness.

    • @marcosb5850
      @marcosb5850 Před 27 dny

      @@user-jn6jm4bb6f No, typical "mourning" or "grief" involves ''sadness'', which has its value.
      Redefining terms, as both Rabbi Friedman and you do, is not the proper approach: ''Grief/mourning, on the other hand, is the feeling that your heart has been shattered into pieces, CAUSING a person to completely stop the ongoing inertia of his life, raise his head, look around, take stock of his life, calculate a new course."

    • @user-jn6jm4bb6f
      @user-jn6jm4bb6f Před 27 dny

      @@marcosb5850 English is not my main language so I may have failed to get the point across.
      Sadness begins as part of grieving, but ultimately meant to be discarded.
      Sadness is meant to be temporary, a temporary phase, a transitional phase. It is like a bubble that wraps around, like the feeling of a baby in its mother's womb.
      Mourning is permanent, it is like a scar from an injury.
      At first, every time the scar itches we remember, then the mourning and sadness hits us and crushes us, but little by little we develop resistance, stop scratching the scar and learn to continue living, with the scar and the grief.
      Sadness is the pleasure of scratching the scar and immersion in the intensity of the feelings that arise from sadness. Sadness is actually an addiction.
      Grief is actually the person's desire to wean off the drug, and move on with his life.
      For example, when a loved one dies:
      In normal condition, first stage: sadness + mourning > second stage: mourning + the continuation of life physically and mentally.
      In an abnormal state, first stage: sadness + mourning > second stage: sadness + cessation of life.
      We see this in many situations, in soldiers with "battle shock", in people who have undergone trauma of one kind or another, some get stuck in the sadness stage, and there are those who overcame the sadness and continued with there life, despite the constant grief in their hearts.

    Man was created to manifold the love of God.Being in his image communion unlike any other creation we have obtained through faith love and obedience.The kingdom is within you. Sometimes an overwhelming experience of his presence spreads peace and a deep sense of awe undescribable joy he brings.Adams mistake may have been a steeping stone towards an even better Adam God inside us and we the Church is in him.The 7 year wedding feast is upon us.All are welcome.The Lord is within arms reach of you at all times turn to him and say Lord this wedding feast I want to go to be with you there.The scriptures tell us that he will in no wise turn anyone away.This is a love thing not a law he fulfilled the law.He has written his law of love on my heart.

    Hi; I'm non-jew. Please, will you tell me what month is the bad-luck month, with the 9th day, Rabbi is talking about? Is he talking about this month, August, that your Temples were destroyed?

    cooperation and partnership with God?
    We are his creatues not co-creators. His servants not partners.
    we need rescue, from God. God will fulfill his plan with us or withaut us.

    If we can't see God clearly then we can't see out purpose clearly.
    And if we can't see our purpose clearly then we begin to think that life is not that precious
