I had black dirty hexhaust like a diesel car, now after a new ignition coil they looks more clean an shiny. I had a stange fuel consumption (double) for 3000km no dash lights or errors. But one day a coil leave me on the road, car don't rev more than 3000rpm ant engine light appear. Curious thing... when the ignition coil dead the exhaust smell like ammonia!! I read about many kia/huyndai gdi engines with faulty ignition coils. For strange fuel consumpion, kia Dealers = no errors no problems. Faulty clutch spring at 24000 km with engine vibrations, kia dealer = no error no problem.... I've also faulty and dangerous suspensions from 24000km (look "maniobra esquiva" ceed or sportage), kia dealers = car runs good, everything is ok This is 7 years Kia warranty in Italy
Same fuel as always, OK-Q8, I've used the same station for the past 16 years without any problems. Were in contact with my Kia-dealership this morning and as this engine is new to the swedish market they had no idea on what could cause this issue.

same issue with 2016 kia sedona - dealer claims it's normal for GDI engine
Maybe poor quality fuel, try to change gas station or contact Kia service center.
