- What is omakase? Omakase is one of the most delicate meals out there, but it's also one of the most expensive. Omakase in NYC will run you at least $100 at an average sushi spot. However, at Sushi By Bou in Jersey City, not only can you get omakase for less than $100, but you can get great omakase for $50! A 12 piece omakase meal can be yours for a relatively inexpensive price. However, it's not just cheap omakase. While it's inexpensive omakase, it's still high quality sushi, with much of the fish being imported from Japan. Among all the best Japanese restaurants in NYC and the best Japanese food in New Jersey, Sushi By Bou is definitely a great authentic Japanese restaurant in New Jersey. While it is not a 16 piece omakase, a 18 piece omakase, or a 20 piece omakase, for your money you get quite a bit. It's one of the best sushi in New Jersey I've ever had and some of the best sushi in NYC I've ever had as well! Give it a try! Check out my video and my omakase review here, as I review each and every piece at Sushi By Bou!

1 question, is there a dress code here? Going next week on a Wed
I don't think so! I was there for lunch though and by myself. They seemed chill though.
I need this. Now. 😭
Went there with my gf the other week. Great pick UA!
Thanks! Pretty solid right?
I had a raw albacore tuna tartar with a quail egg yolk that blew my mind, best omakase dish ever
Wow sounds delicious!
Years ago a Place in Phila. had BARBECUE EEL and
it was great went back and YEA GONE .... Hadent found any yet ..
Your thoughts on omakase are exactly mine too! I actually recently booked 2 pretty affordable omakase sessions (similar pricing to this one). So i’m excited to see how it turns out!!
Nice! Hope they turn out well. Idk if you're local to NYC but if so I hear Sushi W is pretty good and it's very affordable ($50)
@@uaeats haha omg i wish! But the city i live in has a very similar cost of living as nyc so your videos are really interesting for me
You’re back in Jersey City!
I love JC! Couldn't stay away
You should review Shinzo Omakase in Manhattan on 2nd street. If you liked Sushi by Bou, you're going to love Shinzo
Thanks for the tip! I'll try it sometime! Also I hear Sushi W is good
That sushi chef must have loved you lol, such hilarious positive reactions to every course.
This mans page is sooo underrated.
Thanks! I just dropped another sushi vid. Check it out if you're interested!
And I agree that this is a lower price for Omakase than you find in most good NYC places
Definitely! It was very reasonably priced. Give it a try! Just a heads up you need to make a reservation
@@uaeats Ah, good to know!
Check out Sugarfish in SOHO, I think you'll love it for the price
I hear good things about Sugarfish. I'll check it out!
Very interesting how you make a sour lemon face when you take a bite of something you like...hmm
Haha not a fan?
Lol I love your reaction to food you really like!!
Wait so its $50 for 12 pieces of sushi? Mannn idk if i can do that lol
$50 for sushi is not expensive.
That is so cheap!!
Don't like the idea that the chef doesn't wear gloves preparing the food.
