Don't wait until your shrimp gets cooked for too long (pinkish), maybe 2 to 3mins depends on the quantity. If you wait for the shrimp to be completely cooked, when you continue to cook the rest of the meal, for an additional 30mins the shrimp will be hardened. The shrimp harden when is overly cooked. It becomes chewy.
I don’t remember the exact time, but not for long! You can try adding the shrimp at the very end and cook them for about 5-8 minutes or until they are fully cooked through.
