      why it's a total mis use of funds, do you think the Buddha would be proud?

      @@clivebaxter6354I translated your comment from google. I'm not good at English But I will answer your comments as I translated and understood them. The purpose of building Buddhist buildings is not to make the Lord Buddha proud or happy. But doing it for ourselves, as a person with faith and respect, to make ourselves satisfied and feel comfortable, and not cause other people to suffer, this is what a Buddhist is. As for the use of capital for construction, it does not affect government or national capital or taxes. But it comes from private groups and the people themselves.

      @@MergimVlogsYT Of course I will go there for myself. I already checked the Khlongboat there and it seems it only drives in the opposite direction. I want go there with boat but I must cross the Chao Praya River. It seems from the river there is no boat to the Statue... But I must check again. As I learned: Google maps and Thailand is not always legit :D

    • @deburgh65
      @deburgh65 Před 2 lety +1

      It is very easy to get there.
      1 Take the BTS Sukhumwit line from Onnut to Siam Square,
      2 Change the train to Bangwha line, go across the river and get off at Wutthagat
      3 From Wutthagat station, you can-
      - catch the taxi, it is just around 15 min ride
      - walk and explore through the back alley, it takes 30 min walk
