Ali Zafar is an absolute master. He is one of those rare Asian contemporary singers who can easily sing in the range of up to 4 Octaves -- while still maintaining all the swag and cool. So effortless.
It's hard to imagine that Ali Zafar has sung Rockstar and Ae Dil as well as Yaar Daddi, Dastaan-e-Ishq, and Allah Hu. Legend!

I think of this song as a sarcastic humour with puns (very much intended) 😂, and seems you've missed following:
- overall making fun of rockstars giving songs with rubbish poetry/ lyrics but gets hit every year
- dressing sense of singers 😏
- love affairs 🙈
- 'allowed to hain naan chaar!' reference to polygamy in Islam
- 'Googlez karle' reference to Meera (Pakistani film actresses)
- Chhanno Madhubala reference of his songs
- Meera & Resham (Pakistani film actresses), Kim Kardashian
- 'phati puraani jean ki kahaani' reference to Ali Haider's song Purani Jeans
I found these, their might be more, especially in music, I'm not well versed with 🤷

I had a big smile on my face through and through this reaction - it was plain to see that the Rockstar was bringing genuine delight to you. :)
AZ is a master of his craft and genuinely multi-talented. Just the Coke Studio numbers he has done bear testimony to this versatility as a performer and his range as an artist. (On which note, I must complain for the millionth time that you’ve still not got to his Jaan-e-Baharan from season 10 - a song that is almost impossible to do justice to, but AZ showed that you could always improvise and avoid the pitfalls of trying to cover a timeless classic).
It’s hard to pick between JB and Rockstar and so one has to pick them both for wildly different reasons… Rockstar is Ali Zafar of Channo - his breakthrough song and video, Preeto - his first impact I recall in a music video (also, a recommendation for reaction by the way) and Teefa in Trouble - when he brought his comic timing to the big screen alongside Mehmood and Javed Shaikh. Jaan-e-Baharan, on the other hand, is Ali Zafar taking on serious challenges like Yaar Daadhi, Jhoom, Dastaan e Ishq, Jugnuon de bhar de aanchal, and such like…
