Are people actually complaining that he disappeared in the EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL when he's only like 19 he's still a bloody teenager in a final ofc he would not perform as well because of nerves
it's because everyone overhyped him so much and were thinking he will score like 2-3 goals against united.
United didn't have even a good squad, the defence was very poor quality wise, Smalling and Blind were the ones marking and if you watched many EPL games this two were completely ruined.
Smalling and blind were like the worst partnership I've seen but somehow they kept Dolberg in his pocket
Also there was a 17 year old called Mathijs de Ligt who completely pocketed rashford but guess what his nerves didn't ruin his performance.
I just don't understand how a player plays well for the whole tournament but in the final flops harder than ever.
Quality striker, United should scout/monitor him.

As an Ajax and Real fan.. I heard the rumour Real want him. I think he would be the perfect successor of Benzema. A true number 9, and even though hes so good for his age. i hope Ajax wont let him go this soon cause he can still struggle and hasn't really found consistency outside of the Eredivisie.. let him grow at Ajax. It's better for both parties in the long run, and if Real won't get him he will surely succeed at any top club. If you're still searching for that new Zlatan, this is the dude. Michael Pearson Apparently Dolberg has had some emotional problems growing up, resulting into anxiety and other issues. He doesn't really show emotion on the outside (sometimes doesn't even smile when he scores) and that rose problems for the family as they thought he needed therapy when he was a child. Rashford is called a wonderkid, but he got pocketed by 17 year old matthijs de ligt. Dolberg scored twice against lyon, once against kopenhagen, celta de viga and feyenoord. When ajax starts a teenager in every match and say he's not for sale, you better believe he's a fucking wonderkid.

Probleem is dat iedereen bij Ajax een wonderkind is. Bazoer en serero waren ook "de nieuwe Pogba's" en die spelen nu op een behoorlijk laag niveau.
