Have to say, picked up from Terminal 3 today 1st time, watched this video a couple of times and today was soo much easier as a result, everything exactly as expected thanks to this video.
I can only say how useful this kind of real information is so again many thanks, why these types of videos aren't automatically applied to official websites is beyond me more use than anything else I read,
The problem is when there are big queues for the lifts

Thanks for this brilliant video. I had to pick up my son and daughter-in-law yesterday (Sunday), which helped me to be in the right lane to enter this car park. As I approached Heathrow (half a mile out) I hit very slow-moving traffic but I stayed in the correct lane. As I reached the traffic lights it became obvious that a lot of cars needed to change lanes but I held my nerve and all was good. I reached the car park and level 3 completely stress-free. Thanks again.
You sir are a hero. Just in terminal 3 arrivals having followed your instructions to get to the short stay car park. I had a few hours drive to get here to pick up my wife. Having watched your video a few times it was like I’d been here many times before! Totally took the stress out of the pick up after the drive. Thank you 🙏

Great video mate. Every detail covered. I'm a Private hire driver in Sheffield and heading down to Heathrow T3 to pick up this morning. Been a few times to Heathrow but this video helps a lot as I don't come down very often and it's easy to forget with all the different terminals. Thanks.

The best directional videos IMO, used yours for Gatwick too. Worth noting at 1:47 you take the left lane to the drop off point. I couldnt find a clear video showing that, but if you pause your video about there, you can see the gantry sign T3 Dropoff.

Great video. Presented in a calm manner. I am one of those people who like to know what's there before I get there. Usually use street view but not available at Heathrow. Just a quick question, thought I read somewhere that there is now anpr and you pay contacless at the exit barrier, do you know if this is correct? Cheers
Not correct. Always take a tickets when you enter. You do have the opportunity to pay at the exit barrier, but I have found this unreliable which could end up causing a massive que forever people exiting. Always worth using a payment machine before you get back into your vehicle.

Correct...Yes.
Pretty well sign posted.... until you get near the ST carpark park and the signs for "passenger pick-up" just vanish entirely, as I found out yesterday. I had to do 2 loops until I figured it must be in the ST carpark 🙄
hello, I am going there in two weeks my first time thank you so much for your video it helps a lot and do we have to pay before we go in our car? what if I paid and then I am in there for 10 mins extra for some reason
To be honest I wouldn't pay upfront in advance, I would just clearly take a ticket as demonstrated keep the ticket and then pay as you exit, more simpler and effective with no stress.

Hi, is there any changes these days due to Covid restrictions etc or this video is still upto date one. Its 2 months old so I guess it is exactly what i need.

Is this the recommended route? I typed in the same address on Google maps and it seem to lead me to a rooftop parking which takes the right lane. Do you also need to book a parking space or can you just drive in?
Just follow the video, nothing's changed since I filmed it. No need to pay for your parking in advance short stay car parking is what is described in my video. Yes you can drive straight into the short stay car park. You will have no problems following my video.

Yes that is an option for you, but this will take a very long time. This way is far easier.

Keep it simple pay at the machine or at the exit if you think the queues are far too long at the Payment Machines...up to you really.
how is the exit process? is it quite straight forward to go to m25?

Best way is to follow my instructions to Short stay car Park T3 but keep in the left-hand lane and you’ll see ‘oversize vehicles parking’ on the left, park there take the lift upstairs to Level 1. Walk across the Glass Bridge and then down into the arrivals hall....really sorry for delay in replying.

Any idea pn parking charges? I seem to only find either conflicting or extortionate pricing for T3 short stay. Only need to be there an hour to collect someone and I've seen prices from circa £10 up to £70 !!

(0-29mins £5.10) (30mins-44mins £8.20) - (45mins-59mins £11.00) (1hr-2hr £13.90) (2hr-3hr £17.10) (3hr-4hr £20.70) (4hr-5hr £26.50) (5hr-6hr £34.10) (6hr-9hr £46.50) (9hr12hrs £60.80) (12hr to 24hrs £73.90)

@@kensyskye8965 as far as I'm aware there's no exemptions or special rates, but it does give you priority parking by the Entrance of the Terminal in the Car Park. You will clearly see marked bays for disabled perking bays ok. 👍

Wondering if you can stay in T2 and T3 Long stay car park and if thats free for a short time?
You can go in there for 29mins... If you go over that time, the charge will be Very High! This long stay car park is very far from the Terminals itself, so not too sure that will be a practical solution to what you're trying to achieve.
@@heathrowairport165 Seems to be the opposite to what you're saying? Long term is only £8 for 2 hours, where as its £8 for 30-45 mins at a short stay. Long term seems a way better deal even if its further?
@@peter5998 IF you go long Stay Car Park you will have to go on a FREE Bus service, this will take you into the Center of Heathrow, then you have to walk into T3 or T2 to collect your passenger! You will then have to do it all again in reverse. IF you are no bothered about time then this would be another option for you. This process could take you well over 1hr to complete.
What level is arrivals on and what level is departures on?
Arrivals is on ground Level, however you can walk around into departures from the arrivals hall. Sorry for delay in replying.
