Cyrile Gane belongs in A tier. He is the best heavyweight kicker I ive ever seen, besides maybe Mirko Cro Cop who has the hardest kick of all time. Gane's kicks are more diverse than Cro Cop who only threw othodox kicks to the leg, body and head. His kicks are not devistating but nor are Izzy's. Gane throws them at a ridiculous pace for excellent distance control. I though you said you wanted to be fair pound for pound wise!
I agree with you about Gane, so light on his feet for a HW. IMO We are going to see something impressive from this man in the future.

Yeah, dunno why he's not higher up. Even disregarding his weight class he's still up there in A/B tier in terms of kicking acumen.

Guru: I cant put gaethje in B tier for his destructive leg kicks he uses in every fight.
Also Guru: Keeps Volkanovski at B tier for primarly using those same leg kicks against one single opponent in his ufc career
Also guru:Rakic has the p4p hardest leg kick and can shut down 205ers with a few of them. Puts him below volk.

Justin shouldn't be on this list imo. He has amazing leg kicks but when was the last time he threw a headkick? I don't think you should be on a best kicks list if all you have is calf kicks

The Jon Jones fight ruined Thiago Santos knees and that’s why he can’t kick anymore. It’s really sad that he had to fight the whole fight injured like that. If he pulled out of the fight who knows what would have happened with his career
Jones let his human side show in that fight, he could of finished him with leg kicks but took pity on him, about the only time Jones has empathy for another human.

This is probably bs but yk soccer is very big over there. Kids probably grow up running and kicking soccerballs and that actually increases bone density in the shins quite a lot. Again just spit balling

Bro, i don't get why you underestimate Chikadze. I mean yea, in UFC and MMA in general he mainly fought bums at this point, however he was top-tier kicker in kickboxing, one of the best. Watch some of his fights in Glory, dude has legit kicks and is very technical with them. His set up game is thing of beauty.

I think Gane and Jones belong in A Tier and Sandhagen belongs in B Tier. Those two utilize a wide variety of kicks not to end fights, but to break fighters down, keep distance, and set up punches better than most of mma fighters.

Love Guru but Gane a worse kicker than Cannonier just because Cannonier fights at a lower weight (now anyway) is just insane. There is no comparison between their kicking games

I think for future videos like this you should make a separate column for the effectiveness a guy might have more variety but less finishes with his kicks
What about a list of "Most diversely coordinated fighters" such as switch stances, diverse kicks, diverse punches, diverse movement, just overall creativity. Ciryl Gane, O'malley, Izzy, Petr Yan, Jiri, Volk, I'm drawing a blank on others. But there's a group of people who would fit in this group.

It’s hard to compare guys like O’Malley or Wonderboy who throw many different types of kicks to guys like Gaethje who primarily only throw one very basic kick but do it very well to great effect

Hate to be that guy, but I strongly disagree with Ankalaev’s low ranking. Guy is an absolute sniper with fast and precise kicks. He can kick to the legs, body, or head and has a variety of kicks as well. I know it was against a no name but I can’t forget that highlight reel front kick KO he had earlier in his UFC tenure. One of the cleaner front kicks I’ve ever seen, no wind up at all.

Current form rating, cannot utilize it against top level competition anymore, as you may notice McGregor isn't even on the video, despite showing great kicks early on in his career.
