Ken ..its shannon...you need a foot switch for the 2 man ... It hooks to your rolling l motor power that way you can set your power speed on your trolling motor handle and activate the troling motor with the Foot switch trust me it's a hell of a lot easier

Nice video! Suggestion: When you are catching donkeys like that, keep a 10 inch fish to compare your donkeys to. Sometimes it hard to appreciate the size of those fish on camera.
I have had days when fish will be cutting up and biting soon as the bait hit the water then they just stop outta nowhere. I usually switch to live bait when that happens to see if it helps but every real fisherman knows you gonna have great days and slow days but never a bad day just to be able to be in the water being blessed to catch fish
Only if your 2 man had the space for a foot control trolling motor that mounts to the front like the hand control. I love mine.

First of all Sheldon is doing some schooling with that big green from the start then that monster slab on live scope. However that wide back ford ain't going to do it for hauling yall need a chevy! About the cooler live scope, genius bty, so could you walk thru that set up? Does the cooler contain the battery and other components of the live scope or do you use the same battery as the trolling motor? How much run time can you get and what size battery and trolling motor do you use? You said the motor size b4 but can't remember. Great vid keep it up👍
Everything sits in the cooler man. Amped lithium battery as well.
Amped battery is a 48ah which lasts all day literally. The trolling battery for the 2 man is just a regular lead acid battery. And I believe the trolling motor is 45lb thrust

Great video looks like a fun day with your friends I seen him drop a weight in that big wins mouth when you wernt looking. That just shows spend your money on a big boat or get a small boat and have money for the equipment. No I just lied about the weight.
It's coming into the spawning season so all the fish are going to be plump.
Here in the south we are on the downhill side of the spawn. Crappie are loading up on brushpiles though
Hey Ken fishing in the two man will much easier if you add a foot switch to the trolling motor. You then just bump it to get in place.

Man, your Pops eyes gonna pop out of his head, when he sees that big ole 2.88 pound Crappie! That's gotta EASILY be the biggest Crappie I've ever seen caught on either one of your fishin' trips, or even a certain "Don Lacey's" (Dee Crappie's) fishin' trips!
Seems like he's too busy havin' to keep The People's Champ, D. J., from kissin' them fish, and...hmm ... maybe that distracts him, at least at times, from bein' able to hook himself a couple of them 2+ pound Crappies! I guess it all goes back to that old saying:It is what it is.

We didn't get a length on her. I'd say between 16 and 16.5
