Actually tissue culture data was developed by a UK company known as Perry. The company was taken over by a Gujarathi company by name Atul dyes.There are more than 400 date varieties cultivated around the world. A few varieties only gives fruits of high economic value . Some fruits cannot be preserved for long duration and only eaten fresh. So whoever want to cultivate it can read a paper published by FAO and then by the seedling from Atul dyes Gujarat. This is the safest route.
