These videogame developer's put more efforts into writing storylines than those hacks in the WWE creative
Lol I feel the same way. The Rey and 'Taker stories were very well done and had good twists and surprises.
The Vs The Undertaker Road To Wrestlemania mode was so damn fun, i miss crazy enjoyable stories like that in the newer wrestling games
The Jack Swagger and Rey Mysterio storyline was also really fun

This game’s Universe Mode sounds a little like what the WWE is today.

I liked it a lot when it first came out because this was the first year of Universe mode so I don’t give this games version to much shit
Good memories playing this one. I was was finishing up college and not a care in the world but homework and playing this on my PS3…lol. This and infamous 2 😊 good times. I wish I could go back lol. Definitely one of the better ones before everything started going to hell with WWE games.
I don't like how you can't put a championship on the line in universe mode. So if a title isn't being defended on a PPV then there's nothing you can do to change it
I had a love hate relationship with this game when it came out. This game in certain aspects you can argue it’s the best SVR game ever. With Universe mode and Story designer as well as the the weapon mechanics and the physics to it it was awesome. Then on the flip side they removed so many moves and changed others and made them look worse than they used too. But overall I still really liked this game.
Yeah the physics are one of the best parts. The Edge vs Christian match in the story mode is a lot of fun, and I included the clips where Edge pushed me off the top of the ladder through a table waiting below.
I still play SVR 2011 on my PSP.

I remember loving this game when it came out and honestly looking back it really was a good game as it not only adding universe mode and interesting gameplay and road to wrestlemanias. It gave a good upgrade in the match stipulations like tlcs and hell in a cells which is what I remember they were hyping up and it got me excited. I loved how the Tlc matches and hell in a cells were as not only hell in a cell finally having weapons but also they way Tlc matches gameplay evolved as the physics upgrade really helped. Sadly since this game the matches went on to have a sort of downgrade which is irritating and makes you wonder why they downgrade the physics from this game. So yeah this game is honestly one of the coolest games looking back.
Oh yeah I agree with the feel of the game and the upgrades. I just finished playing 2010 and I have to say 2011 feels so much better and smoother. It doesn't look like a bit step up visually but gameplay wise it feels quite different.
Your created character Vs The Undertaker Streak is the greatest Storyline ever created in any of these WWE games. Pretty sure you are meant to use a created character for that story line. Never once used the other wrestlers like R-Truth or Morrison. Stupid and random choices lol
The whole damn thing was great easily the Best one for me personally. I played them all from the first SVR till 2011 and this was my favorite. I haven't played any of the 2k ones
Bro you totally missed out on the dopest features in one of the Road to Wrestlemania stories. In Christian's story on certain days you can find parts scattered around the arena to build a fucking time Machine. Pluss if do his first and build it you can still use and interact with it in all your other play through's on other people's Road to Wrestlemania modes to save time get challenges you may have missed so you don't have to do things through two different playthroughs
This was one was fun but 12 is so much better
Stopped playing after this one. When it became just the year like ‘12, they sucked. 2010 and 2011 SVR was the top tier WWE games
this game looks like fun but it does sound annoying in some ways that you have to unlock stuff or how in universe mode if someone attacks you with a pipe and there is ZERO follow-up...that just sounds like WWE today
Need that wwe 12 retrospective really leaning towards grabbing that on the 360 over the others for replayability purposes. lol anyone in here think I’m making a mistake?

As much as I enjoyed SVR11, the only thing I hated about it was that they removed most of the moves from previous video games.
This game is 100x better than whatever 2k22 will be. Lmao I had the wii version of the game so I didn’t have the startup training facility, also on the wii version you can fight on top of the tables.
Ah the last WWE game ever made for the PS2 and PSP consoles in 2010 or 2011?. Regardless, WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 is very much alive today as there is a dedicated fanbase of this game where they update the roster to the current roster of the WWE to keep up with times. There was this WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 mod called WWE 2K19 where they go beyond the limit of the default number of rosters where they went from being less than 100 to 100 plus wrestlers including the NXT rosters with accurate skins and wrestling outfits faithful to their source materials.
DLC was kinda cheap in this game American badass Undertaker didn’t have his music or his entrance motion
SvR 2011 killed the SmackDown! vs RAW series. And WHY? Because SvR 2011 had really crappy gameplay.

Excuse you? This game is the best gameplay out of any Smackdown game hands down. The weapon physics, The directional grapples, Blood, graphics, It's all there. I wish I had whatever you're smoking
