TACTICAL CYBER TRUCK IN VANTA BLACK COATING!! SUPER STEALTH! This is what the people from the 80s movies envisioned for futuristic vehicles look a like!
As for the issues with punctured lithium battery cells exploding, you could look at the ammunition storage units in tanks, like the M1 Abrams, which use blowout panels in case the armor is penetrated to redirect ammunition cook off and keep fire away from the crew. A system of these blowout panels could redirect the fire from these cells away from the doors and passengers, allowing them to escape without further injury.
Huh? Are you being serious because the US is just about to replace the Humvee with a JLVT i dont think theyre just gonna ditch it for a stupid ass battery box
@@MaxxerG Yup because that gas box offers heavy protection, some of the best off-roading capabilities possible, doesnt require to be recharged every two seconds and can be easily refueled, tell me, where are you gonna find a charging station in Iraq? What about Syria? Not to mention the gas box is much easier and cheaper to build. There is a reason they use the gas boxes over the completely un-practical battery boxes just because those ones "looks cool" even though they honestly looks like dogshit...
Эндрю Every two seconds, Wow why watch this just to hate on it, no one said it’d replace the Humvee’s, it may be suitable for some situations. While the warthog looks cool as fuck it's shit design wise, if you even hit anything while driving at high speed, you're being catapulted outta that thing, got no bullet and plasma proof mirrors on the sides as well so any sneaky Bois can easily take out the driver too, and don't get me started on the turret
Really impressed with all the research, concept art, and the interview with Mark Burton. I was sorta expecting this video to be like “let’s make the cybertruck shoot nuclear missiles from under it license plate” but I was pleasantly surprised to see how realistic it could be.
First, the more "protection" means the heavier it gets, which hits the weak spot of electric vehicles - long range autonomy. Keep in mind, using it in war means not only on asphalt, so using it up and down in woods, over rocks etc depletes battery life even faster. Second, using it in cold conditions makes it battery range lower, using it in cloudy sky, night time or "not in the open" makes the solar charging useless. Not saying a military look doesn't look cool though :)
New tech that they're building factories for nearly triple the range on EVs. Other new tech they're setting up to mass produce allows EVs to charge in 10 mins. Both technologies are expected to be affordable to the public in the next 8 years or so. They already exist and are being intigrated into some luxury 2025 and 2026 models last I heard. The range of a top line cybertruck would be 1300 + miles with the new batteries. EVs are significantly more affected by extreme temperatures and load size, and reliance on electricity being available in warzones is problematic, though solveable with portable wind/solar/gas generators. There are pros and cons to it.
Need wireless charging figure get from atmosphere earth has magnetic shield should be plenty of electricity there need figure how to harvest then electricity take over ice
Cyber truck: I am bullet proof EMP: Hold my Electricity. . My point is in war IDK if a cyber truck is worth it. But I think they should enhance that to a Full Electric Tank
Fascinating video. Not only do we need a low maintenance tactical sci-tech civilian truck to last a massive one million miles, Cybertruck, but also an independent solar power charging station at home ready to roll anytime should an oil and power grid crisis occur at some point in the future, but would plug in the standard fossil fuel generated power grid at work and during a long road trip. I hope this option becomes possible in 2 to 4 years from now.

It is a fascinating concept. The question remains, what do you do in the absence of an external power source?
