Tacloban is a coastal highly urbanized city in the Eastern Visayas region. Although administratively independent due to its distinction as highly urbanized city, Tacloban is commonly grouped with the province of Leyte. The highly urbanized city also serves as the provincial capital as well as the regional center of Eastern Visayas.
The city has a land area of 201.72 square kilometers or 77.88 square miles. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 251,881. This represented 5.54% of the total population of the Eastern Visayas region. Based on these figures, the population density is computed at 1,249 inhabitants per square kilometer or 3,234 inhabitants per square mile.

Woah, thanks🥰🥰🥰. My mom's from Jaro, she used to go to tacloban when she was a kid and has a lot of beautiful memories there before coming to Manila. But I have an uncle(mom's older cousin) who is still living in Gomez St with his family, but personally Ive never been there to really visit and tour around the city. We just pass thru then go to Jaro for the usual trip when we visit Leyte.
Sooo excited to show this to my mom. Tysm❤❤❤😊
