It appears that the aircraft operating this flight that day was a 747-123, one of the aircraft acquired from American Airlines in 1984. You can tell by the blue fabric walls and the glimpse of the galley configuration. The -123s were normally used on South America flights as they had a larger Business Class than the 747-121s.
I don’t suppose Pan Am flew their 747s between LAX and JFK? Considering that in Die Hard, John McClane arrived in LA from NY on an unnamed 747, which even though was filmed during Christmas 1987 was released in July 1988.
I find it disturbing that you used Gate K14, the same gate the ill-fated Pan Am 103 used for its transatlantic leg (PA103 originated as a intra-European/feeder flight from Frankfurt designated as PA103-A using a Boeing 727).
