I think the bag overwhelms you! Reminds of blown up polene Cyme….. I love the elegance of my mini cyme and wish I had kept the black…..although I think the black is better in the full size! Nice video lovely.

I say return the denim skirt and the black jean jacket as I know sometimes oversized is your style the acid wash is more interesting if you stuck with that decision. All the jeans look phenomenal. You have a lot of black so if I was nit picky maybe return the sweater and wait to add a colour? What a great haul.

I want that Ganni t-shirt you have on, I love the cat design and color, but decided not to get it. I never wear the graphic t-shirts I already have, they’re not really classic or timeless. They were very trendy for a while, but not anymore. I’m much more likely to grab a collared cotton shirt, or a simple, solid-color cotton tee or other knit top. I realized over the last few years that, comfy as they are, I don’t really love t-shirts very much. I keep reaching for the ones with collars, they’re less super-casual, which is isn’t really my style.
That t-shirt has definitely turned out to be one of my favourite buys of last year. I think made more so by the fact that my daughter loves it so much (points at it and emphatically says "Meee-OW") which has given it this magical essence - the part of personal style I love so much which is more than clothes but the memories we attach to them.
And I think that's great that you've figured out which style of tee works for you for having something with a modicum of casual ease but that feels like you :) Agree that a tee (in the general sense) isn't a style that will be for everyone! x
I think return the two denim jackets, they swamp you a bit. Agree denim skirt too big too. Everything else looks great
I think The Frankie Shop one definitely, the Khaite one I still think is gorgeous but might play around with styling it my wardrobe a bit more before I decide :)

Love the tee, have it myself, and worn it already so many time! Its very versatile and the logo in its bold font actually makes it cooler, I think
Honestly, a no to the Jill Sander t-shirt. There are a lot of beautiful tees, logo-less, that perform the same. And I have a feeling you can get the same denim oversized jacket on the secondhand market.
I think I'm going to try and track down a vintage RL denim shirt which will give me that denim shirt look that I'm after :)
I love the fit and the fabric of the JIL SANDER tee; not sure if they do it in a plain version but I might again see if I can find something similar as the structure is so nice!
That’s a very tight wardrobe budget, $1K/year, especially for the quality items you (and I) like. Does that not include footwear, lounge/sleep/exercise wear, jewelry and other accessories? That’s my monthly wardrobe budget, but it includes everything, including jewelry and other accessories, boring old socks, underwear and sleepwear. I sometimes go over budget, too, but it’s ok, so long as I don’t use credit to buy anything. But, this last year, I had to replace everything but footwear, socks and accessories; I’ve lost so much weight over the last ten years or so (aging?) that I just couldn’t put if off any longer. I sized down what I could, but really that only means my simple skirts, not much else worked. I’m constantly taking them in, round 3 now! But, I still love them! I did sell, and still am selling, my better pieces. I don’t make much money, mostly I just want them to be loved and worn again. The little I did and do make helps with the cost of the replacements a bit.
But budget for the year is around $10K AUD - give or take. I don't need to buy any new exercisewear/sleepwear etc so would be just for clothes, shoes, bags and maybe other accessories if I see something I can't get out of my head. I'm a cash buyer - don't shop on credit at all - which is good as it stops me from getting overly silly with my purchases. Probably one of the reasons I find it hard to justify an expensive handbag purchase!
I love that you are trying to make what you have still work despite the changes in your body, sounds like you've got a good strategy going :)
Oh the branded shirts, I love the one you’re wearing, because it has a nice image, but the one with the block name looks ridiculous like a name tag that’s not your name even if it was your name, why wear a name that boldly?
My husband wasn't a fan of the logo either - he liked the actual fabric and weight so am going to see if they do the same tee in any colours. If so, one to add to the wishlist for later as otherwise it's such a nice cut!
I think return the ‘oversized’ items, I think this is a trend that only suits the tallest models, even then it’s not that nice. And why waste money on such an odd trend.
I think this is all down to personal preference - I don't mind some oversized but the proportions have to be right :)
No to the Jil Sander shirt. It's loud and tacky...feels like an "influencer" basic package too.
Logos are either you love or hate huh? I really like the shape and fit so adding the style to my wishlist and hopefully they bring it out in a basic cotton :)
