Community Battle Idea: The American Invasion of Huachi Jima, and the end of the Typhoon Legion!
American Briefing: Admirals, Generals, Commanders in the Field, Intelligence reports that There is an Airfield nearby on the Island of Huachi Jima operated by the German Luftwaffe to Protect Enemy Merchant Ships going to and from the Pacific Theater of Operations. The Island also acts as a safe Harbor as there are also Port Facilities to Resupply them on their Routes. Now that the Japanese have been cut off from their supply lines in the Dutch East Indies, and our own troops in Europe having Liberated France and the Brittany and Channel Ports in doing so, The Germans on the Island are now attempting to Slip out towards Germany and leave no trace of their Presence in the area. The Top Brass in Washington is Convinced that if we Take the Island from the Germans, we can Secure our western flank and allow for further support for future offensives in the Pacific and in Eastern Asia. The 7th Marine Division's 14th Regiment will be Leading the Landings, with help from the Army's 21st Infantry Division's 12th Infantry Battalion, along with 14 M4A3 (Late) Model Sherman Tanks for the Marines and 7 M4A3 (Late) and 7 M4A3 (76 millimeter) Sherman Tanks and 12 M-10 Tank Destroyers for the Army. They will be Supported by a Carrier Fleet centered on the Carriers USS Lexington (CV-16), USS Yorktown (CV-10) and USS Hornet (CV-12) as well as the Light Aircraft Carriers USS Belleau Wood (CVL-24) and USS Monterey (CVL-26), with Offshore Bombardment from a Covering Force lead by the Old Battleships of the California (or Tennessee)-class USS California (BB-44) and USS Tennessee (BB-43) which will provide Air Support and Naval Gunfire Support for the Troops Respectively. At this moment, the Germans are loading up Transport Ships with Men and Material in order to evacuate the Island. There is also a Tank Company with 10 Panzer IV G's and 8 Panzer II C's along with an Infantry Company of about 100 men ready to defend the Airfield from any threat, However, most of the Defenders on the Beaches will be Luftwaffe Field Troops. They shouldn't be hard to miss as their Helmets, Field Caps and Trousers are all Medium Blue. The Panzers will are stationed in a nearby Village about 3-4 Miles South-Southeast of the Airfield. The Airfield Itself is about 3 miles West-Southwest inland of the Beaches, running at a 30 degree angle (North-Northeast to South-Southwest) for about 1 to 1½ Miles, and is defended by 4 Flakveirling 38 20 millimeter Quad mount Anti-Aircraft guns and an Anti-Aircraft Battery of between 6 to 8 88 millimeter Flak 43 Anti-Aircraft Guns is nearby stretching for about ½ a mile about 1,200 yards away to the Northeast. The Airfield has 16 Messerschmitt Bf-109E-4 Fighters, 32 Junkers (Pronounced Yoon-kers) Ju-87D "Stuka" Dive Bombers and 24 Ju-88A-4 Dive Bombers based there to Protect their Merchant ships from Allied Aircraft and Submarines. The Beaches will have an entire Battalion of Luftwaffe Field Troops, 4 Companies with 3 Platoons each and a Heavy Platoon with Four MG 42 Machine guns lining Trenches with Barbed wire and scattered obstacles like the Czech Hedgehog stretching about 5,300 Yards Across by about 1,300 Yards deep. There are three Bunkers that you must keep in mind, Two of which have 88 millimeter guns and the Largest having a 105 millimeter Gun which will be looking over the Beaches. Once these guns have been silenced the Army and Marine troops will have the chance at utilizing their respective Armor Support and deal with any remaining Defending infantry or Armored Units that they come across, and ultimately seize the Airfield from the Germans before they have a chance to destroy it. Any Transport Ships in the Harbor are to be considered as "Targets of Opportunity", but be warned though because there are rumors of a couple of Elbing-class Torpedo boats and some Captured Italian Destroyers in the area as well.
German Briefing: Komandant! Reports of an American Carrier Force steaming towards us in support of what may be an Invasion of the Island have just come through. The Carrier Force has 3 American Essex-class Aircraft Carriers, 2 American Independence-class Light Aircraft Carriers, 2 American South Dakota-class Battleships, 2 American Baltimore-class Heavy Cruisers, 3 American Cleveland-class Light Cruisers, 1 American Atlanta-class Light Anti-Aircraft Cruiser and 8 American Fletcher-class Destroyers. There are also reports of a smaller fleet with 2 American Tennessee/California-class Battleships, 2 American New Orleans-class Heavy Cruisers, 4 American Cleveland-class Light Cruisers and 4 American Fletcher-class Destroyers as well as several Transport Ships such as LST's, American Liberty and Victory Ships and American Crater-class Cargo and Armadillo-class Tankers, which are based on Liberty Ship Hulls. Our reports on the Carriers is 18 F6F-5 Hellcat Fighters/Fighter-Bombers, 18 Navy and 18 Marine corps F4U-1D Corsair Fighter-Bombers, 28 SB2C-4 Helldiver Dive Bombers and 18 TBF/TBM Avenger Multirole Torpedo Bombers for the Essex-class and 24 F6F-5 Hellcat Fighter/Fighter-Bombers and 8 TBF/TBM Avenger Multirole Torpedo Bombers for the Independence-class Carriers, effectively outnumbering our own aircraft by 5 to 1. It would seem that the Smaller Fleet with the Battleships, Heavy Cruisers, Light Cruisers and Destroyers will stand off about 6 Miles offshore to provide a Preliminary Bombardment while the American Troops climb into their Landing Craft about 10 Miles offshore. The Carrier Force, on the other hand, will Station themselves about 50 Miles away to Provide Air Support and Protect the Landing Forces. We are still attempting to Evacuate the Island and Move towards The Nearest Port in our hands, however, the Transport Ships are still refueling and rearming for the Journey ahead. Even our Torpedo Boat Flotilla (6 Elbing-class) and the few Captured Italian Navigatori-class Destroyers are having to take on some men and equipment but are unable to simply because of their age and/or design. We do have our Panzer Company in the Nearby Village with their Panzergrenadier Company in this case as well as our Battalion of Luftwaffe FeldDivision troops for the defence, and our Bunkers too! Shall I sound the alarm Herr Komandant?
I'm cutting it short here in the interest of saving time! I spent about 1 or 2 hours typing this up, so I hope you like this idea man! If this looks at all familiar to anyone, especially those in the Minecraft Community, I typed up a generally similar idea in @Sbeev's 5v5 Carrier Fleet vs. Airfield video which was released about a week or two ago! Again, loved the video man, hope you liked my idea and I'll catch you in your next video of Brick Rigs!

I’m gonna have to check out this new tower! The Phantomling and Co Fire-Starter still works and I guess the fire started you used works as well. I’m loving the new update of this game, I’m still trying to get used to the new editor and controls, I don’t know how to move the character while in free camera anymore: 0:39, but I guess it’s called stationary camera. Glad to see tower survival back, this and sinking ship survival are my all time favorites!

Using an elevator and a fire is not recommended as fire can spread to the power system and cut it off the elevator relies on motors at the top of the shaft and the fire can spread into the elevator shaft and burn those motors to a crisp as well as the ropes that hold you up so yes I think you could see why you don’t use an elevator in a fire now
