Half of the comments on this video are either about the Supra Video or how this channel has lost it's integrity. To the marketing person reading this comment: PLEASE surface this in your reporting. Motor Trend deserves to know that they are suffering and hurting their viewership. Look to brands like @Donut and @Petrolicious for real automotive journalism. Because this content is TERRIBLE for real automotive fans.

@@tacotaco6577 Dunno youtube guidelines are very grey. I know you can get a guideline strike for promoting your own twitch channel. Look at the description of this video. it provides a link to a competing video viewing website. Linus tech tips received a guideline strike for doing this

A good master mechanic to check out Nick's Garage. He's heavy on Mopar but does all muscle cars.

I officially hate Motor Trend for taking Engine Maters away. I'd gladly watch commercials if that's what it took to get the content back.
Should have shown the exit ports of all manifolds and how crappy the pro products are which requires some port matching. 20 minutes with a carbide bit and it would also match the others performance.

There's an old Engine Masters vid where they do carb vs efi shootout, check it o... Oh that's right they removed all the old Engine Masters vids from CZcams.
Probably cause they proved carburators make more power. Engines dont care what is ontop of is as long as its getting proper air and fuel. They proved carburators have an advantage by having a cooler intake charge, making more power.
I never understood why they start the measurements at like 3000-3500 rpm. Like it's not important what happens under 3000?

Being in the car community, I would probably refer someone to an Engine Masters or Roadkill video at LEAST once a week. I was ready and waiting for every new video. Now I even forget the channel still even exists. PUT THEM ON AIR WITH THE OTHERS....with DirecTV yall arnt gonna loose money on them but right now your loosing your fan base left and right. Then at that point what good is it of you do air them if nobody cares anymore. PLEASE I hope someone reads this.

I will re-watch old episodes of "Road Kill", and "Engine Masters" 10000 times over before I EVER pay to watch new ones. Way to go MT, take something people enjoy and try to make $ off of it. I hope you end up like "Top Gear". Everyone associated with these shows should leave and start new ones, the viewers WILL follow them.

@@Sir.VicsMasher It looks like they fell behind on Engine Masters episodes. New episodes should be free to watch again in about 8 weeks. We'll have to wait and see if that's the case.

I'd think open discussion on such a controversial topic right now would be promoted by any reputable PR organization, but alas they have censored it. Regarding the "monetization" of their content (basically a paywall), it's hard to argue they couldn't be successful when you see automotive channels like @Donut, @hoonigan, @hooviesgarage, @carthrottle succeed with virtually 100% "free" content. They have 6m subscribers, yet their video views seem to average less than 1% of that... Seems they would make much better ad revenue if they made better content 😉

The only way this nonsense will stop is if people stop sending money their way using their MT subscription channel. Also, is it me or are the "stars" of this Motor Trend stuff seeming very flat almost like they are distressed. Do they see what happened to their fans? Yeah. I am gonna be blocking this channel too. Why bother showing anything if there is no info? Now its set up like an infomercial to get you to pay to see the content. Ad revenue should be plenty. I already pay hundreds of dollars per month for cable and internet....I dont need this content as another bill.

Changing the intake or exhaust manifold won't give you as much torque than a electric engine but might make you deaf but not blind at least.
Filipe Aguiar electric motors are boring. No big thrill there.
@@mrbigg7255 fuel engines have been modified by many car enthusiast for decades, even me. I find that modifying electric motors would be more interesting.
