- The Garden Route of South Africa is a famed touring destination with many iconic locations to explore. The ROBBERG PENINSULA is definitely one of them. This place is Awesome!!
There are three HIKING routes on the Robberg, one easy, one moderate, and one 'difficult' or challenging. All are worth checking out and depending on your fitness level, and time constraints, we think the moderate and or difficult are the way to go.
In the video we touch a bit more on the area and routes. Big shout out to the African Array Backpackers Lodge (africanarraylodge.co.za/) for hosting us. Vicky and Matthew are absolute legends and I truly hope to see you both again one day. Thanks for the great stay and healthy conversations :) !!

It was great!! Thanks for sending through your Q&A questions mate. Got a couple in the next video dropping this Wednesday.
I've been subscribed to your channel since your collaboration with Heaton And BVS and yes your content is mind blowing.
It's hard to believe that you still haven't surpassed 10k. Maybe because people are busy watching "You wouldn't believe what Happened next".
Keep up the great work man!
Epic sunrise and sunset shots👌👌👌✅✅
I'm in parka, boots and 30cm of snow.....but I'm not jealous. Coffee on the deck! How much can we take! But I'm not jealous.
Haha! No way, where's that? Canader??
*Awesome views my friend! Amazing footage! 👍*
Cheers dude!! Is a great place to explore.

What a great spot! Loved the video, as always.
What a place! Will have to make a stop over there next May.
I did the 5,5km today and I can't move my right leg.
But tbh, it's a n a amazing experience.
Great vlog! That is awesome that you are able to get some free accommodations while traveling Africa especially with how amazing the scenery is!
Yeah the crew at African Array are amazing. Big shout to them for sure.
Another great video..👍🏻
Thanks yo!!
Wow, Robberg Peninsula looks just like Cornwall in the UK 😊
another episode with stunning coastal views Greg but also the view from terrace looked amazing as well. Nice one

I like this
I like this too.
Been there, done that - it's truly awesome. Did you see the seal colonies too?
Sadly we didn't but saw a lot of video from them just a bit further along. I think if you do the 11km hike you definitely see them.
@@gregsnell yes, they gather around the long pathways turning point, accompanied by bird colonies
Great vlog. 🎥
Thanks!
If you ever come to Ecuador, we would love to host you. Just let me know. Another great video, thanks.
I have been a couple times before :) Love Ecuador. Will let you know. Thanks for watching!!
Great video! I’m curious, do you know if drones are prohibited on the Robberg nature reserve hike? I’ll be visiting there next month and would love to get some footage. Thamks!
That place looks amazing mate... incredible landscape shooting locations... love the jump man shot!! Awesome!!! Need more of those, lmao 😂
Quick advice question, first drone: spark or air? Cheers Jase
AIR.
Greg Snell I knew you would say that... cheers bud!! Jase
Who's that action photo star? and whose the great photographer that took the picture?
Hahaha, I'd say Nellie :)
Hi Greg, are you still in Plettenberg Bay? If so we have a house on Robberg Beach that I'd love to invite you to stay at. (We're not there right now, but there's a house keeper to look after you.)
Hi David, thanks for the kind offer but sadly we just left :( We did have a great place to stay in Plett though no worries :) Hope you're having a good journey!!
Greg Snell I’m so glad you got to see Plett. We love it and travel there from Boston every year (my wife’s family live in SA). I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip in SA. I’m loving watching your VLOGs on this Africa leg! If you ever head back, please ping me and take me up on the offer.
And in case you are interested, here’s a very short video of the seals on Robberg shot from a Mavic Pro:

(Filmed before I learned about the importance of storytelling from folks like yourself!)
And this is quite fun, filmed about 15 mins north of Plett:
