Cuts (rushes, out takes) for stories in Colour Pictorial - CP 526. The original stories are on Pathe Master tape *PM0309*.
MOTORWAY MACHINES - Nice footage from inside a moving car looking out of windscreen driving down slip road to join motorway. We move down fast outside lane in car, overtaking cars, lorries and other vehicles. Various shots from top of bridge looking down on motorway. M/S and C/U's of tractor spreading ballast (similar to cut story).
TRUCK DRIVERS - Various shots of the bad driver trying to overtake the safe driver on country roads. M/S's of safe driver in lorry with arm resting on window. Nice footage looking out of windscreen of lorry driving down country roads. Numerous shots from inside the roadside cafe. Woman serves tea to safe driver and a fry up to the other (similar to cut story). C/U of bad driver talking to teenage girls in truck (hitchhikers). Various shots of inspectors checking the bad drivers lorry. They check indicators, tyres and steering, bad driver looks anxious. C/U's from inside safe drivers cab waves cars by. M/S's of green Morris Minor trying to overtake lorry - lorry keeps swerving.

This would have been filmed on a 35 mm cine camera back in the day, hence the excellent quality and colour saturation.

All filmed on the A40 between West Wycombe and Tetsworth . CHRIS'S CAFE is still there and well worth a vist.
