Thanks this my exact model and problem made so so much easier understanding what I was dealing with! I had rodent problem under hood so I had been baiting. Except they wer putting my bain IN the fan somehow! In a short time they STUFFED it ao full it could barely turn and sounded like living HELL lol...I cleaned it out and it works now but I could not get the round gasket back in
My 2003 Avalanche is not like this. The motor is held in place by three screws. The twist lock looks much nicer. Most videos show the twist lock style. My truck was built in Mexico, maybe that's why it has a different motor style. The back screw is very difficult to get out since it is very close to the firewall. By the way, good luck getting the cover off if you have a console!
Yeah I was happy to see I had the twist lock motor when I had to replace mine. I had no idea Chevrolet decided to use screws to hold the blower motor in 2003. Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe.
2004 Avalanche. Thank you for your Video!

Good to know it looks like a pretty simple job. The last blower I replaced, I swear, they built the car around it. Thanks!

Currently $36 to $59 bucks on amazon
I believe you get what you pay for, if possible always spend that extra buck.
@@93dajjdg auto store mark up is ridiculous.... you spent the extra buck and still had to replace 6 months later....
