Incest has never been so romantic.
they should put that line on a t-shirt.

MATT SMITH SAID THIS EPISODE WAS HIS FAVORITE WHILE WORKING WITH EMMA. THEIR CHEMISTRY IS JUST AS GOOD AS HIS & MILLY's WAS
This scene is so beautiful.
Wondering if either of Daemon’s previous wives would feel the same way
it really is. felt the need to watch it again.
The music in this scene is just gorgeous and strange. Fits the scene perfectly.
Hey, I have a question. Are they drinking each other's blood?
@@RhaenyraT2001 That's what I was wondering. But I don't think so. Perhaps they're drinking some sort of nuptial wine, maybe blessed by the priest or something like this.
Daemon and Rhaenyra - Ramin Djawadi
Congratulations to the happy new couple, Mr. and Mrs. Targaryen-Targaryen
I now pronounce you unclehusband and neicewife.
Just use one Targaryen, mate works anyhow with this two
@@berun9204he probably ment to emphasize that they already have the same family name lol
The way they marry in Game of Thrones always feels very romantic somehow.
From the I am hers/his in the regular show, to this where you share your blood with your partner binding you together...I don't know. It just feels very intimate and personal. Like a real exchange of vows.
0:47 I have to find someone who looks at me the way Rhaenyra looks at Daemon
The Targaryen family tree is a stump
The incest is off the Chart. Anyone who supports the marriage can trace back his/her origin to west virginia or Alabama.
lmaoooo
A wreath 😂
@@ScavverSamMae less of a tree. More of a circle.
I'm cryingggg bro
Both actors are SO GOOD! But this scene makes Rhaenyras sons have their grand uncle be their step dad and their cousins/aunts (depending on Laenas side or Daemons side) now their step siblings also. Keep it in the family 😂
"Blood of two, joined as one
Ghostly flame and song of shadows
Two hearts as embers forged in fourteen fires
A future promised in glass
The stars stand witness
The vows spoken through time of darkness and light"
My heart 🥺
I'd been waiting for this since the first episode
Most beautiful wedding ceremony
Their both hand gestures are just devine
The translation makes it even better!
Blood of my blood! 🩸🤍
I love Game of Thrones, but this 1 series of House of the Dragon is by far my favourite purely for the display of Targaryen culture.
Daemon is easily my favourite character out of all the series’.
This scene is beautiful, romantic, we see the real Targaryen culture….. and it made me all the more annoyed at Jon Snow for killing Daenerys when this was the obvious future they could have chosen
I’m fairly certain that her demise on GoT was *always* Martin’s intention.
@@joeysalazar98it’s not. He’s stated otherwise. You can Google it since it’s *right there*.
Bellissima questa scena. Finalmente si è visto un Valyrian wedding. Fuoco e sangue. E bellissimi Rhaenyra e Daemon ❤️
The music. It gives me chills 😬😬😬
I'm pretty sure they used dragon glass to cut themselves.
'blood of two joined as one' weren't they already one in the first place? 💀
My loves 🥹🥹😍😍 they are forever the moment 😭
Too bad most people not enjoyed this scene for the first time thinking about laenor murdered for this 😂
omg! Pure love!
Magnificent
this scene is really beautiful. This is what I was waiting for, I don't see anything wrong with relatives getting married. It's normal in the HoD and GoD world. And it has been normal in history, although there have been deformities in children. They want to keep the blood clean. Alright. I hate Lannister
oh my gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
I can't see the english translation in the video 🥲

Yesssss omfg someone should dub some Batyushka over this 😂😂😂
Was that a septon or a valyrian priest?
Valyrian Religion, there was no mention of the Seven in their vows
it was a dragon priest
Where’s the translation?..
why is the music sounds tragical?
because it is tragic. All things plummet down hill from here
@@phugindomas I thought it's because Viserys' too late to realize they both belongs together? I mean if this wedding done a bit soon, there will be no bloodshed because no one's gonna challenge Daemon.
@@greenforce68 this episode is where what happens next becomes inevitable. Their marriage does not have a happy ending for either of them, Daemons might be a tad different from the origin but we already know what happens to rhaenyra and this is a big step towards why.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS ENTIRE STORY IS TRAGIC
Why they rushing it 🥹🥹🥹
The Greens are afoot.
what did they drink
their own blood
there mixed blood
Nasty
Thats soo unhygienic lol
Oddly enough they are not married either because her 1st husband is still alive. So all this having true born children is total rubbish. Just pointing that out. Also the safest wedding in Westros as no one died at it.
Awkward, weird and gross...
Should be the words of House Targ
this scene would have everything to be perfect if it wasn't for the lack of chemistry between the actors
You must be young or inexperienced in love to not see their chemistry. It's so deep and passionate it makes me want to cry.
@@queengoblinExactly. It gives me chills at how they look at each other at 0:48, especially Rhaenyra.
This scene alone makes me want to get married like this, this music in the background, that location but not to my uncle of course lol.
This scene is my most favourite scene in the whole show till now. And the music....uff chills.
Y'all know this is grooming right?
😴😴😴
Which was normal and ordinary in medieval times
At what point do we start disregarding Rhaenrya's own agency? She was obviously infatuated with him when she was like 14-15. At what point do we tell her does not have a right to love who she loves? And the brothel scene happened when she was like 17-18, or was it 19? Besides this being fiction, show me a point in the show where she didn't want what he offered?
Yes, in real world, grooming is a heinous crime, as it is almost ways one-sided, with an older man/woman asserting power over a defenseless child/teenager.
I would, however, not classify their relationship as uncle simply grooming niece. It blatantly ignores her agency as a woman grown (remember that in Westeros, girls become women once they have their first period); trying to insert a modern lens and modern sensibilities into this fantasy show is doing the story a great disservice.
Though, it's important to have these discussions. It makes for interesting arguments.
@@MyUniqueVibe Americans always forget most countries age of consent is 16 too.
I think Americans will probably make theirs to 21 at some point, they are so puritan.
Grooming for her and for modern America
This actress is not feminine. She is tuff and macho like. Why was she picked for this role?
What are you talking about? Emma is amazing.
What the hell do you mean after all the shit she's been through you can't be serious. Acting femine wouldn't save her or her children's lives she had to be tough to play the game of thrones. Just look what happened to Ned, viserys, margery, Rob.
