Hello my darlings, today’s oil painting timelapse features a recently completed portrait that took about 6 hours spread over 5 days. I was so delighted to finally be able to paint the portrait of my favorite model from art school, Randy, who has the most exquisite beard and captivating face 😍 Hope you enjoy!

For the longest time, your videos weren't showing up in my feed, so I decided to revisit your site and watch your videos. I have missed your wisdom and journey as I am taking a long break from oil painting but I am itching to return thanks to your content. :)
Yeah, same happens for me and a lot of artist channels on CZcams I follow. Seems CZcams is not pushing this type of content as much as it once used to do. Annoying stuff!

Turn on the bell! That's how I've been able to keep up with them all. People's attention spans are getting shorter, and art videos need to capture their attention in 0.1 second 🥹

Kind of a random take on this, but here is man who might not get a second look while going about his life. But here we see the beauty in his wrinkles, white hair and balding head. His expression is what tells a story and gives interest.
Crazy part is it works for anyone in real time. Our expression and story is what makes us “awe inspiring”, it’s not, and never has been, solely about looks🤍
I love all your work I have a question I’m feelin frustrated I paint and it looks cartoony. Is that normal is due to not over layering . Is it normal or am I in trouble????????
