If I was a Superstar with the draw power of someone such as Mercedes Mone, the Undertaker, the Rock or whoever you think is still healthy and capable of performing I wouldn't care so much about who's paying the most to want to book me. If I was that Star I would be giving back to the wrestling industry by making a list of either my top favorite up and coming independent wrestlers that aren't getting as much attention as I feel they are worth and having matches booked featuring them along with the big money matches. Id pop up in unexpected places such as Booker T's Reality of Wrestling or on NWAs big event and a company like NWA or Reality of Wrestling I wouldn't even charge them for my appearance. I don't think any of these celebrities ever even had the thought of giving back in such a way. Maybe the closest one was Jon Moxley as AEW champion showing up in Game Changer Wrestling, New Japan and other smaller companies. Every next move doesn't always have to be bigger. Humility and humbleness goes a long way.
