  • Hiren Ved of Alchemy Capital on markets and elections . ‘History shows that elections haven't really mattered much beyond few weeks of volatility. Chemical sector has not done well since 2021, but may be in process of bottoming out now. Real estate demand continues to remain strong', says Hiren Ved

Mr. Ved speaks sense generally! Very surprised to see him drawing parallels between 2004 bull market and current. During 202-08, we had the bull market because the whole world had a demand driven crazy bull market. Right now is not the case, China demand of commodities have slowed, US likely will may have recession in next couple of years, Europe is struggling. India needs a business friendly government which can take forward looking decisions decisively. For all the drawbacks (divisive messaging) of the current govt, they have overhauled the govt decision making process and have been largely good at implementation. We shouldn't forget the decision paralysis UPA govt had. Also, never underestimate Congress ability to take decisions which will harm the Business environment.

I am not sure why it is so difficult tk understand that what we had in bw 2004 - 2009 was due to the verg fact that most of major Infra push was already initiated during Vajpee Ji NDA Regime. Captial expenditure effect is a slow and gradual process. The positive effects trickle down the economy of rmany years. So I credit the NDA lead bh Vajpee ji for the massive bulm rhn which we had from 2004. As soon as that effect demjnished we all saw what happned after 2009. Skmy humble request is that we somehow keep loosing half of the decade due to misgovernance, lets avoid it this time and ensure we have again a strong, stable, majority Govt. So youknow what to do,pls for God's sake, go out and vote

Mr. Modi is irreplaceable, visionary. Great work done in Railways, Highways, clean up of bad assets. Mr. Ved please speak some sense. Mr. Modi has taken Indian economics to great heights.
