By definition, introverts pretty much can't be extremely self-centered. If anything, Mr. "I created your childhood via FOP and Danny Phantom" has to be the most self-centered extrovert in the entirety of modern animation history. Only his ex-friend Seth McFarlane can rival him for it.
Although what he says isn't completely true, a large amount of narcissists are introverts. I've seen more self-centered introverts than extroverts but that's just my point of view. Not all introverts are narcissistic and extroverts are also likely to become narcissistic.

I've watched the original Powerpuff girls, I've seen a couple of episodes of Steven universe, I've watched Rugrats, and yes, I've seen fairly odd parents. I've grew up watching many shows throughout my childhood. At the moment, Butch believes he's really special and continues to remind everyone that he created their childhood shows. It would have been ok if it was once in a while, but not every single time.

I think that Hartman and several other people are mixing up introverts and having low self-esteem.
Introvert is a person who prefers alone time to recharge. Which means that even a person who may be very social can be considered an introvert if stimulation wears them down.
Low self-esteem is when you think that you are less important than others. It can make you end up becoming selfish, attention grabbing, feeling worthless, and a people pleaser.
Low self-esteem is often confused with self-confidence, the belief in your abilities and skills.
I just wanted to mention that because with this and some other videos, people are getting mixed up between the two.

I never really personally had a problem with Butch until now. The moment that completely infuriated and made me judge his personality me was the moment he made that backhanded comment to Tara Strong (The voice of Timmy Turner) on the “Speech Bubble” podcast.
He basically made a joke to Tara (who was immediately visibly uncomfortable with the remark) regarding Mary Kay Berman’s death. He was insistent on bringing up that she passed away twice and immediately followed that up by stating that “Tara had something to do with it” and “it was probably her fault”
Mary Kay Bergman was a voice actress who killed herself in 1999. According to her husband, she killed herself for four reasons: depression, anxiety, her mother passing away from cancer, and fear of not landing new roles/“losing her talent”.
On top of that apparently Mary and Tara were extremely close friends, and Mary’s death effected her quite deeply.
I have no idea why Butch thought it was okay to say that, especially since Mary was a former employee of his. That’s like the most fucked up thing you can say to someone in that situation. Butch knew what he meant when saying “it was her fault”. Mary had many roles in television, but was ultimately replaced by Tara, as Timmy turner on Fairly Odd parents. So that comment seriously has a lot of depth.

To be fair, Butch acts like he single handedly created both FOP and DP.
He refers to himself as the guy who created your childhood, but realistically he never credits the hundreds of people that animate and actually write a lot of the episodes. He has more that 200 people that work and are contracted to help create episodes, and a lot of fans speculate he doesn’t add much to the episodes, rather than just directing & finalizing decisions that are made.
Not saying he doesn’t write or animate, but in retrospect, he might only really just be doing a very, very small percentage.
Dude has a giant ego, regardless. Should really be thanking and crediting his staff.
