- What if the Bloodborne Soundtrack was re-arranged for a Fighting Game like Tekken or Super Smash Bros? Here's a quick take on it!

I'm pretty amazed to say there's actually a small and ambitious game studio which is creating an actual Dark Fantasy Fighting Game inspired by IPs like Berserk and Bloodborne, @UmbralCore !
They're new to the industry and need all the support they can get, and if their Kickstarter gets enough support, I'll write some music for the game!

There's a game studio which is actually creating a Fighting Game inspired by Bloodborne, Berserk etc.
I tried it & talked with the devs at length about their vision and I'm amazed.
They're new to the industry though, so they need all the help they can get!

Really hyped for your game since I saw a preview of it. Slim chance but have to ask, is there another way to support except for Kickstarter? Ever since PayPal was removed as an option it became impossible to support without a debit card.

I was gonna comment "Umbral Core devs, take notes", but then I saw their comment.
In hindsight, it was a bit of a huge coincidence for Alex to just want to make Bloodborne sound like a fighting game for no reason XD
I hope Umbral Core gets the support it deserves! It's an amazing idea, developed by my fellow Italians, and it would be incredible for it to receive international recognition! Alex's tracks would be the cherry on top!

This guy legit needs to hear Arknights Music especially The CC Lobby themes, and the Character Leitmotifs, also some of the latest boss music, the quality of it is insane for the game's simplistic visuals!

First of all, I just saw the add of your online class before this video started playing. I think its amazing that you share your knowledge since I truly consider you one of the best arrangers/composers out there.
Now with this, I would love for you to try Ludwig's theme with either Castlevania's style (Michiru Yamane's, obviously) or in the style of Guilty Gear (music from Xrd specifically from Daisuke Ishiwatari).

That being said, I stumbled upon Umbral Core when looking up videos for other indie fighters, and man was I impressed. I am very hopeful for this project and will definitely be supporting it. Thank you for bringing eyes to it!

Hey Alex! This was absolutely nuts, and I'm so excited to see Umbral Core getting support! The idea of a dark fantasy fighting game actually being made makes me so happy since horror and fantasy are my two favorite genres!
Also? Big fan. Seriously without your help I'd not have been able to navigate composing in a DAW as easily as I have. If you ever need actual metal (or other) guitar recorded for any of your projects, absolutely hit me up! When not trying to write game related music, I'm actually a guitarist in a Melodeath band out of the US! While I think the midi sounds rad, a real instrument never hurts to really flesh out what you're looking for!

I do love this arrangement but it doesn't feel like a fighting game song. They are usually more simple with less change in tempo. This arrangement feels to epic to be a fighting game song

If PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale had turned out better sales-wise, I could easily see this track working quite well for a sequel/reboot of that game (seeing as Sony owns Bloodborne). Maybe it could be the track used when Bloodborne monsters invade a stage based on another IP (e.g. PS4 Spider-Man's Manhattan sees Rom the Vacuous Spider climbing on skyscrapers and Beasts prowling the streets, while Sable International's mercenaries desperately try to fight them off only to be grabbed by invisible Amygdalas), with the triumphant-sounding finale coinciding with the end of the match, when the locals manage to prevail and drive off the nightmare creatures.
