Turn breakers off, take front panel off of ProLogic wall unit, wiggle display to remove it from plastic rods that hold it in place, disconnect connection wire from circuit board.
Rich - when you do the replacement, does the programming need to be redone? I'm replacing an old Aqua Logic GLX-LOCAL-PS-4 that is working but the display is unreadable. I'm already having some automation config issues (gas heater isn't turning on automatically when i turn spa on) and ideally I don't want to create even more config issues. Thanks.
The display does not need any configuring. It gets its info from the main board and just displays it. If you are having issues with automation it may be a sign that the main circuit board is about to go out.
I don't need to replace the panel. I can't see thru the little plastic view window. How do I get it out

Can you change to another brand?
Not if you just need to replace the display. If you want to change out the whole control box unit, then you can change to another brand controller.
