Lansen has a special place in my heart. My dad was and electrical engineer on them back during his mandatory military service year we had here in Sweden. This was back in the 60s. The Swedish Air Force did a lot of low altitude flying and there was quite a few accidents he told me. There is a Lansen mounted as a statue in my old home city. It blew my mind as a kid even though it was long obsolete then as I'm borne in the 90s. Been interested in aviation ever since.

No tracers used to be the main weakness of the swedish 30mm, but now the swedish belts have been updated to allow tracers as well. Oh how the turntables.

13:30 that's an A.I. Just like in naval its just there to fill for a missing "room" for a team less populated, in case someone has "join active game" option turned on; and uses a deleted account name. Usually crashes, or just keeps flying randomly.

Like most planes at the 9.3 - 9.7 bracket, it's incredibly fun except for the all-aspect bullshit that you have to avoid the entire match. And God forbid if you end up on a clutch against them...

Instead of one of 4 missiles I take a rocket pod for flares, it saved me a few times from 9Ls and R-60MKs.

I love being away on vacation in some nice french town by the sea, and some fighter jet proceeds to fly maneuvers overhead like some screeching dragon. No sure if it was a Mirage or Eurofighter, my eyes were watering a bit against the bright sky.

@@peterlacey5187 Indeed I did, flew circle after circle, steep climbs and dives. Sometimes the cupola blinked orange in the sun. Was quite noisy but also cool.

The Lansen is one of those planes that on paper seems terrible but, in game its amazing its still my highest win rate ratio jet

i prefer the j34 because its a lower BR, you still get 2 missiles, and even tho no afterburner, is still a solid aircraft

I think u get more RP + SL for a solo base kill than for a player kill (specially with a premium), so it is logical to carry as much bomb that needed to take out at least 1 base, if your plane has the capacity (particularly with a basic crew, if that all u can afford). With the AV-8C i fly with 4 napalm +1 Aim-9G, and the British harriers can carry enough bombs with the full AAM load. + Its usually easier to spade stock planes with bombing if its an option, than suffer trying to get kills till your plane no longer "handicapped".

I tried out the combat flaps. On a stock J32B they blew out at like 570ish km/h while flying basically straight maybe 15 degrees upwards.

I just unlocked this plane and I'm loving it. It doesn't have great turning though but the engine allows one to win if one uses altitude properly. My big problem is that the wings aren't really sturdy enough for the souped up engine so I've gotten a bunch of wing breaks lol.

The mig 15 in the last game.. it was Clear bot.... cause there was an error in connection of the player..
the game put the bot as a place holder for the balance of the teams.. but not only...
it happened to a friend of mine when we get to play in a game like team.. 4 people.. and he could not get in.. the game gave the position to a bot.. so

I play this plane with next to minimum fuel and no secondary armament.
To me, this is a support aircraft. I can bank 9Gs without losing speed at 1100km/h or so. Hard to get on someone's ass, but others can't get a shot on mine.
